Gaming Games where you can't change language

Hi guys,

Long story short:
I got Tales of Vesperia, and for some numbskull reason, Namco decided it was a good idea to set the in-game text as the system's language.

Question:
Is there any way either legitimate or homebrew that one can set the text language as English?
I share the Switch with my daughter (or is it the other way around?) and putting the Switch in English is OK for me, but not for her.

Please, is there a damn hack or save setting or SOMETHING?

I can't believe this happens in this day and age.

AHH now i understand your Problem
the switch doesnt support portugiesisch
so you play with a english system language

ok but my point is the same
the game support portugiesisch
so it should be an option there in the system option (before you load your save/start the game)

Support was added for configuring language/region on a per-game basis.

• This is managed by editing atmosphere/contents/<title id>/config.ini for the game.
• To edit title language, edit override_config!override_language.
  • The languages supported are ja, en-US, fr, de, it, es, zh-CN, ko, nl, pt, ru, zh-TW, en-GB, fr-CA, es-419, zh-Hans, zh-Hant.
• To edit title region, edit override_config!override_region.
  • The regions supported are jpn, usa, eur, aus, chn, kor, twn.
