Yes, you don't even need "nkit" in the name, since the GC nkit.iso format is "just" a scrubbed and trimmed* disc image with added information in unused sectors, so it is a perfectly valid GC iso=gcm

* as in the GBA/3DSi definition of "removed empty space at the end", not as in the disc-based consoles definition of "defragmented"

Thanks for this information. Is there a nkit batch converter?
Yes, it's called NKit lol (more specifically, the NKitProcessingApp, the one with the green and white icon)

If you already know you have good dumps (Redump verified), you can choose "convert" instead of "restore" and turn off "full verify" to save time

I started the process of Recover to NKit.iso and sure enough have some bad dumps. Many I have are very old, so I'm not surprised by the results and it could be a result of me being clumsy throughout the years with these. This is a great application and thank you for pointing me in the right direction @Ryccardo

Why .nkit.iso ?
I thought "nkit.iso" is for Wii-Games
and ".nkit.gcz" is for GameCube-Games!?

Does ".nkit.gcz" works with nintendont too? or just "nkit.iso"?
