I never had that issues months ago until I decide to download the latest atmosphere version and Hekate version. When I didn't used it then I turn the power off through Hekate because I am in autoRCM. When I turn it on through ns-usbloader and noticed that my battery drains already and it is zero. I have to recharge.. Twice! It was never happened to me when I had old atmosphere version and old Hekate version. Now the newer versions caused my battery issues. I don't know if the battery issues is relate to atmosphere or hekate ? HELP ?

I got message from Hekate team in Discord and in GitHub:

"As I explained to you in discord:"

the issue is that you connected a usb or you pressed power by mistake
this wakes the console and enters in autorcm which drains the battery
so when you select power off, you should be careful to not press PWR or connect/disconnect a powered cable
basically you just described the classic "device woke up in autorcm and drained the battery" thing

I am not sure I understand.

If you have AutoRCM installed, you should leave the Switch docked and in sleep mode when you're not using it. If you can't dock it, you should still leave it in sleep mode when you're not using it. You should never power it off unless the purpose is to immediately enter RCM.

If you power off a system with AutoRCM installed and do anything to it (power it on, plug it in, etc.), it will enter RCM, and the battery will drain.

IHi. No, I am not newbie. I had been used AutoRCM for over 1 1/2 years. This is the first time I noticed. that battery drains than I expect. And no, you can power off it through hekate but I don't understand what Hekate team is telling me.

As I already explained, if you do anything to a Switch that has AutoRCM installed after powering it off (plug it in, press the power button, unplug it, etc.), it's going to boot RCM and drain the battery. If you don't want to accidentally enter RCM and drain your battery, you should never power off the Switch. Keep it in sleep mode when you're not using it.

I've explained it to you twice already. If you are going to power off your device with Hekate, you need to make sure you don't do anything to the console to cause it to enter RCM. Pressing the power button, plugging it in, or unplugging it will cause it to enter RCM, and RCM drains the battery. This is why you should leave it in sleep mode instead.

I think this is the best explanation. Once you've hacked your console, you should say goodbye to turn it off and only keep it on sleep mode when you are not using it, doesn't matter if it's docked or not.

Okay okay! I understand. Thank you.

Only if AutoRCM is installed, but yes. This is correct.

If you want CFW to be persistent, regardless of AutoRCM being installed, then it should also be kept in sleep mode, which is probably what you meant.

Bud, my advice as someone that uses Auto-rcm.
It is a tablet. Leave it in sleep mode. They are designed to be left in sleep mode and can actually be better for the battery, rather than constantly powering it off.
If your switch is charging at all when you power it off, I believe it will trigger rcm, if you have auto installed.
If your having problems understanding the english(although your writting is very good) maybe tell which language is best and possibly someone might be able to read and translate ;).
