I just saved setting on priiloader and I assumed after setting this up I would be able to copy my save file of smash bros to my sd card but I wasn’t. Right now I’m thinking I should use save game manager but I’m not too sure if I would be able to put back my save file after testing something that might work out for me to go online with smash again. I read I have to delete my save just to go online again because I have error code 60000 with wimmfi but I also read people downloaded a complete save file later on. I just don’t want to lose my actual save data, I want to be able to transfer it back to my wii and hope I’ll still be able to go online once in awhile. If I can’t do that I’ll always have the wiiu version. I’m on priiloader 0.30 for the longest time, I am thinking if I update to another version it might make a difference but I have my doubts on that.

Edit
I’m actually on priiloader v0.7 (r138)
I’m going to see if I have a save file I don’t care about and see if I move it to save game manager, if I will be able to move it back but I think smash is the only one I got that I really don’t want to lose, it won’t be the same to me using another save file.

Use save game manager gx if all else fails

Save game manager worked, I deleted and restored my save twice. The first time I got error after error and after awhile it put me back to homebrew channel and my save restored the second time was just error error and when I loaded smash bros apparently error still meant it installed properly. Even with the new save file, my wimmfi account will still tell me I’m putting an invalid friend code. Maybe my online account on the website could be a issue. I don’t even know how many people still play smash wii, sometimes I see the website say around 8.
Anyway atleast I know if an error occurs, the save file still restores, just in case I attempt to go online again, I may want to have two separate smash saves.
