Hey guys im having an issue with Paper Mario and i dont know if the game has bee meesed up by using cheats .
There are key/essential objects ( i dont know the name thats in english ) like sour key and turtle gems i can see that i have earn them and even use automatically the key for the sour ,, Now if i Press the Y button while playing i can acces to objects , like mushrooms and also i will have to be able to see those key objects . But they are not there and i cant access to them . Any ideas ?
Just figured it out where is broken , after you talk to the two Koppas , theres a fight and the two koopas pass to be near a wall , in the following video youll see that i have the stones and the koopas are telling me that someone wants to stole the stone , even if no ones there .
Does any have a save from that talk with the koopas ?
Anybody else have corrupted saves using cheats for this game ?

I do know that the HP cheat does have some negative effects in the game, and that part was one of two parts I noticed the issue. (The other time being the Goomba at the top of the tower you fight immediately after you start following the red streamer.)

Did you actually fight the shy guy that was attacking the wall or just stomp/pound him?

With the HP cheat you are allowed to kill certain enemies in the game you were not suppose to be able to skip, and the game doesnt know how to progress after that forcing you to reload, or restart your game (if you saved after the fact)

To fix this you would have to change the part of @patjenova cheat that effects the Max HP value because its that value that determines if you are eligible to skip fights.

Hooo now you i see , your data is correct i just stomp/pound him that avoid the fight and the fight scene afterwards ,, i have also noted that when i got the first important item the hook to lift the underground thing , the item was not added to main onscreen items .
@patjenova can you check the inf hp cheat on Paper Mario Origami maybe with a max of 50 without the strange to stomp enemies , i also noted that when inside battles the hp decreases . Of course if you have the time

I'm still early in the game to on level 4 been playing it all week and only just beat a second boss fight but the game is long and want to get as far as I can

I did the exact same thing. I tried editing the game save, but there is a hash that the game can see to check for editing. Either way, I just started over and just about to that point now. I could extract my game save and send it to you if you would like.

You can use the infinite time cheat and then press + key to get additional time. You can repeat this all the times.

Meanwhile I was toying around with Edizon to see if I could find money address. And I found 4 of them.

Here's the funny thing: the 3rd address is for the shops menu. The 4th address is for the inventory menu. The 1st and second addresses, I still haven't found what they're for.

I'll share them here in case someone can replicate and knows how to create a cheat from them:
1st) HEAP + 0x000607D9E0
2nd) HEAP + 0x000607D9E8
3rd) HEAP + 0x00514C4060 (shops)
4th) HEAP + 0x0054DECA00 (player menu)

Steps I took: search in double (DBL in Edizon), equal to (== in Edizon), HEAP + MAIN, input my current money. Better if it's an odd number (mine was 13699).

After a bit of money spending I see that the four money addresses change every time you buy something from a shop. The value for this addresses becomes the money amount you keep after buying your stuff.

You mean, that cheats need pointers, (when the value changes if you turn off the switch or change stage). How did you look for it in Hex? (8, 16, 32 bit??)Look, I saw that the other time they became like that. I sometimes do cheats with Noexs in pointers but I don't know how to do these which are easier.
