I have recently jailbroken my ps3 successfully which i found pretty straightforward and i have a spare ps4 running cfw 7.51, is there a way to jailbreak a ps4 succesfully at this firmware level because ive seen many many conflicting videos threads and blogs and im confused as to what is fake and what is not

There's a new exploit for 6.72 that's being worked on. There is no known exploit for 7.51 at all at this time.

Don't believe fake Youtube videos or fake websites trying to give you a virus.

is that right ?

two more questions,
this homebrew app and the cthuga exploit through your browser are they part of a different method or are they just available for the right version firmware & i also saw a api tool what looked abit shifty is that also the case ?

They are all basically the same. 5.05 is the latest firmware with any public exploit, 6.72 is likely to be the next one as the exploits have been fixed. In theory the kernel exploit sony signed off releasing could go up to 7.02, but nobody has announced a user exploit past 6.72 yet (that one was discovered in September 2018 by google project zero and turned into an exploit for ps4 in December 2019).

There are plenty of fakers promising exploits on later versions though.

no you don’t :P

5.05 is highest stable, 6.72 is on the way, and 7.02 is a way off yet. But it’s coming.

Like @Hayato213 said: refer to the guide. I will be updating it in full soon.
