I've heard some people use loadiine?
Maybe someone can explain this.
Never used this, always went for brazilian method.

Yeah Loadiine was games off sd card. Some Wii U games ran really bad with long loading times. But it was ok for like N64, DS. Doesn't work with Wii or Gamecube though, which is what the injector does.

Would that require a large SD card? Really trying to boot games from my USB and home menu if possible (due to ease of access), also I still have 1.4tb free on my HDD and my SD is almost full due to retroarch and PS roms. Most of my injections are DS, Wii, GC, and Wii U games.

There's no other way around it. The Wii U was made to only hold 300 icons on it's menu.

Other than getting another hard drive and loading Wii/GC games on vWIi.

I read there was a way to access up to 3000 titles across 10 accounts but I'm a little iffy on a straightforward risk free way to do it.

Okay so this makes sence. A

As far as I know, all Accounts show the same games, you might not be able to acces them from one or another tho.

Link? Probably some bullshit Youtube video.

So basically you're asking if there's a way to break 300 we tell you there's not, you say you read there is but you don't want to do it. I don't know wtf you want, there's not some easy way to do it or it would have already been common knowledge by now. I'm not some noob I've been in the Wii U scene since day 1.

I don't understand people that have to have every single game on a console, even if half of the games are games they will never play. It's overkill.

Is there an easy way around the 300 icon limit?
No, the best options are Loadiine (which opens games from the SD card, but can take some time to set up and does not allow you to play online) and using System Config Tool's Title Launcher feature (you're going to need to find that tool for yourself)

Never said there was some easy way to do it, kindly asked if there was a reasonably risk-free and clear cut way to do it. Maybe with a step-by-step tutorial. No need to get all worked up about it. And I really don't care if you "don't understand" why I would want to. Why I would want to is irrelevant. The point is that I want to.

Is there a way to use the gamepad if I load Wii/VC games on VWii?

entirely different topic, but if i were to inject an homebrew application like wiimc or mplayer with this with cafe2wii enabled, would it do anything for the kinds of video it can handle? e.g. on a normal wii they usually can't handle videos encoded at x265 or over 720x480

Unless that limitation is caused by performance issues, then no. cafe2wii cannot change video output whatsoever, it can only overclock the vWii mode (which is really useful only for emulators, since it may cause issues with Wii games)

Hi all, Gonna give creating my own Wii U Homebrew Injection a go using this tool so that I have a Snes9xGX Channel, but one question first:

What is the difference between a banner and a Boot Logo? I don't know which is which and when they appear on the screen.

The banner is the image that appears when you boot up the app, the boot icon is the Wii U logo that's appears on the upper left corner of the screen when you boot the app (on the GamePad it shows the Nintendo logo instead)

I just downloaded Super Paper Mario using the VC injection method onto the wii u. Everything looks fine even when i start the game but when I click on the save file that I made my wii u crashes. It makes a buzzing sound and it wont turn off until i pull the plug. Does anyone understand what is going with my game? I have the save files transferred over from the wii when I played the game years ago but I lost the game so I wanted to try this injection method.

Not real sure why it would be doing that. Could be your hard drive so maybe try to install to internal. (do not use a flash drive if you are, get a real hard drive with a y cable) if it's not that try another ISO of the same game from a different site. Also make sure the ISO is from the same region as your Wii U.

I installed the game to internal and had gotten this problem so it is not a hard drive issue. I will try another ISO and see how it goes. Thanks

Just digging into modding my Wii U... couple questions:
I have two options for storing my games... two hard drives (one with GCN/Wii games) (another with Wii U games)... or I can use just one hard drive to store all my games, but I can only hold about 300 due to each one using a Wii U "channel"?? Is that correct?

Finally, can I use a single hard drive but split it into two partitions (one formatted for Wii the other for Wii U) to make things easier on using a single hard drive?

Side question:
Curious, what's the challenge with breaking the 300 limit? Would it not be possible to make something like a front end loader similar to homebrew channel that would then allow loading a massive text list of available games similar to an Everdrive that could then push the loading off to something like Nintendont?

As I saw someone mention above.. if it was easy it would have been done by now, lol... but was mostly curious what the actual challenge is... if it's known. :)

I have tested it with another ISO file but unfortunately the same problem is occurring. One interesting thing to note is that I downloaded a different game to see if I did anything wrong and that game worked perfectly without any issues. So I am back to square one. At this point I'm gonna find the game used, buy it and then try it out lol.

I think I might have a solution for you. I just googled and they sold Super Paper Mario on Wii U. That's good news.

-Google reddit Wii U USb Helper workaround and follow the directions
-Download it from there
-Install it
-Should work

Then it's no longer an injection that should give you any problems it's an "official" Wii U game, sorta. Not sure if it will work with any previous saves though it might but it might no longer read saves from the Vwii I am not real sure on that.

Thankyou so much. Your solution worked. Also it works with my previous save which is a plus. I really appreciate your help, thanks again.
