Sorry, I only recently started learning how to make cheat codes so I'm not very good at it.

Did you try activating and then deactivating the [Money 16x (off)] code?
yeah i did, basically after shipping out (1 time mind you) with the x16 on , i got 2 billion gold. but its technically "false gold" and theres just no way to spend that amount. about to test your code now hopefully that works

EDIT, quick follow up. your infinite cash code worked to fix the issue, thanks a lot

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Can someone look at the SoS: Friends of Mineral Town time cheats they work but I’m stuck in an endless time loop. Even after I use the change time off cheat.
i kept looping back too, gotta exit game and go back in, only use the pause time code, seems to be the only one that doesnt loop, just keep hold of x then press b and it should reset the hour back til u let go of x

Okay that’s good to know about the x and b button combo, thank you for that!! I wish we had an instant build cheat to for the construction and tools. I’ll try to see if one of my friends will help with it. They use to make some of the codes for SoS:3OT.

Yay! I'm happy to hear that :)

Here are some time change codes, as well. Let me know if they work! I mapped them all to the same button combo, so you can only activate one at a time. The first line of each of the codes is what determines the button combo you have to press, so if you want to change the button combo to R+A instead, change the first line of the code to 80000081.

Code:
[R+B for 8am]

Hey @Rameyuk Welcome and thanks for your opinion about this Collection that has been created almost 21 Month ago .

-First of all if you read the page 1 of this threath , you will realize that all the codes and updates can be downloaded From there where a Main cheat file is available .

-Second, you can find all the cheats somewhere like in this link , that its updated daily
And a lot of other sites as maxcheats , switchdb , switcheats , 91wii , and many others that allow you to search by name and even send a mail to you if an update for the game you want has been created .

-Third ,if you are willing to create a wiki or anything else , you have access to the main cheat file i have no problem about it , ask the creators of the codes as well please .
The process of keeping the forum it's not difficult , if you read the info on page 1 .

-Fourth ,if finding a cheat code or update its hard for you as finding a needle in a haystack , im attaching the main cheat file here .
Download it , and unrar it , Enter the Titles folder , hit search and put the name of the game you are looking for , if it has been created you will also have the version of the game and person or persons that created them in case you want to ask something related .
Last but not least Have fun , and enjoy the forum .

Thank you @matias3ds for the information, I really appreciate it. I'm just thinking that there has to be a better way to manage this while giving the abilities for everyone else to find and publish codes that they need.
  1. Having the main file is great, but someone still needs to keep the file updated as more codes are being discovered by other contributors. And of course, it needs to go through the vetting process by everyone else to make sure the codes are working and validated. It just feels detached in some way to the other processes.
  2. I've gone through all the other sites as you mentioned, but they don't seem to include every code that's actually here in the forum. I like that this forum is very active and that there's always regular new codes being discovered and shared. And to me, this forum is always the first to appear in search engine results and the codes that I found here doesn't seem to be found in any other sites. So naturally, I believe this forum is more active to discover and share codes than other sites. I'm sure those sites will get updated eventually, but it's quicker here.
  3. Yea, I just realised I don't have access to be the creator for the Wiki page in GBATemp. But looking at it, there's massive potentials to fully utilise the wiki as a main code repository, where the readers could just open one game page and find every single code for that game available there. You can also update the cheat file individually for every game than having to update the entire main file that potentially could "step onto each others toes" if everyone is updating different codes for different games at the same time. The benefit of fully utilising the wiki is that you could have discussion specific to each game page. Right now, if I need the discussion progress about Story of Seasons, I had to cycle through every single post from the initial code that was posted to find any relevant responses that's related to the game. Using the wiki, the discussion page would be specific for that game, that way any responses would be a chronological discussion for that particular game, instead of being mixed with other discussions about other games.
  4. I appreciate the effort for compiling all the codes into a single file that I can just copy and install to the Switch (or emulator in my case). But I find the structure to be somewhat still confusing for several reasons:
    1. The file is structured with the Title ID as folder for every single game codes that was discovered. Yes, I can just extract the file and find the title using my windows Search function, but it would be much less confusing if it's structured using: (Game Title Name -> Title ID -> cheats -> Build ID.txt) This would allow people to sort the game list using alphabetical order while also grouping similar named titles with different Title ID because of region releases to be grouped under a single Game Title Name, reducing redundancy and making sure every entry is unique, while still keeping the structure on the lower levels to be usable when installing them.
    2. If you're only looking for a code for 1 game, you'd still have to download the entire repository for the codes and find them afterwards. Not only you're downloading more than you need, you're also need to do the extra effort of finding the ones you need from the entire list. If we're going for the Wiki process and separate each file for different game entries, it would render this method of keeping them in a single RAR file no longer needed, as each game would be maintained separately, and you don't even need to restructure the file as mentioned above because each user would be downloading the code file for a single game.
I'm not criticising or challenging the process that's been done here. If I do make anyone feel that way, I apologise in advance. I'm just thinking of a better, more effective, and efficient way for everyone to be able to share, update, and find the codes they needed. Since that's what I do for a living as a Business process management consultant, I assist people to identify things that made them inefficient and recommend some solutions to help them achieve a better process, saving them time, money, and minimising effort while yielding better outcomes for everyone.

If everyone here doesn't feel the same way, I apologise and I will keep these things to myself.

Thank you but it would be much less confusing if it's structured using: (Game Title Name -> Title ID -> cheats -> Build ID.txt)

Then you couldnt just drag and drop the whole thing into the cheat folder on your sd. You'd have to search EVERY game then drag the single folder out from inside it. Sounds a lot more annoying then having some extra codes. You'd even have cheats already there if you decide to play an older game even

Thank you, now that's a better structure. But it's still a separate file coming from a different source. That file doesn't seem to have the same code updates as the main file at the first page of this thread, nor it included the variations that the other members contributed that comes from questions, requests, or issue fixes from the other posts here. Which raises the question, "where's the single source of truth?" Where do we go for a reliable and up-to-date list of codes that are standardised in a single source.

There are many ways to search for cheat codes , again your more than welcome to create another plataform , search engine , threath , etc . Once you have done it post the link here , and those interested will sure follow . Good luck

Yeah, that's one way to look at it. I suppose I'm thinking from the efficiency and cleanliness perspective. I'd rather not fill my SD card in my switch (if I actually have one) with extra codes that's just garbage and have the potential of those unused codes to do weird things to my switch that it shouldn't. Personally I would just pick the codes that I need so it'll only affect the games I want to without having it affecting everything else. If I decided to play older games, then I'll just search the codes again for any updated game

Even I have to split the codes for Story of seasons to separate cheat files, because I only want some codes and not having the other codes to conflict. But that's mainly because I don't have Switch and I'm using Yuzu emulator, and that's how I need to structure my cheats. But that's just specific me, nothing to do how the cheats need to be distributed here.

Thanks. That's actually a great idea. I could start by creating my own platform and base off the repository coming from this forum.
But with the sheer number of available cheat codes here, I find it to be an impossible task to ask for permission from every single person who contributed to finding the codes and sharing them here. There are 1287 pages to go through after all.

Is it okay if for every page of cheat codes I make for every single game to have a reference link back to this forum, and giving credit the entire community here instead? At least, as a starting point. If it does take off, everyone could make edits and assign the appropriate credits and references as needed.

Also, since I don't have a Nintendo Switch myself, I could only post using my perspective of using Yuzu emulator in terms of how to install the cheats. I might need some help from the other people in the community with the guidelines to use them on the actual Nintendo Switch itself. Otherwise, I might just start to use it as a code repository for now, before it goes into other things.

Do I have the permission from the community to do so?

Since that's what I do for a living as a Business process management consultant, I assist people to identify things that made them inefficient and recommend some solutions to help them achieve a better process, saving them time, money, and minimising effort while yielding better outcomes for everyone.

If everyone here doesn't feel the same way, I apologise and I will keep these things to myself.

The best is this And Easy: Drag and Drop.

I have always done it and @arismendy64 took the time to share them just as I have.

How do unused codes do weird things to your switch some yuzu only issue?

You may be thinking it from a cleanliness view but having to have everyone have to search to find games they want with the inability to just drag and drop seems the opposite of effecient.

just use this to find the title id and search for that instead http://tinfoil.media/Title/

I think we need a separate thread just for Story of Seasons Friends of Mineral Town (US) (0100ED400EEC2000) cheat codes where we can all manage them separately, everyone agree?

On another topic. I can't seem to get this freeze time cheat working constantly. Sometimes I get it to freeze, but I can't unfreeze it. Sometimes, I can't even freeze it in the first place. And a question on this Hold R and L button. This is the shoulder L and R button, right? The thing is, those button are already mapped to running and open tool bag. Can't we remapped them to L analog stick button, and the R analog stick button that doesn't do anything in the game, so we can use them without interrupting any command.

If I get it to work, what I experience is that if I stand still, the time still passes, but when I move my character, the time reset to the 00 minute of that hour. And pressing the L button to turn of the pause time cheat doesn't work either. So I'm stuck in that perpetual loop.

Note that I'm playing this on Yuzu Switch emulator. All other @patjenova cheats seems to work perfectly.

you only need to press the button not hold it, also the press L to turn off shouldve have work n make the time passed again. As for why the time still passed when standing still, its because the cheat doesnt freeze the time and loop the time when u move instead, which i think is perfect because the only reason u would stand still is when fishing, just pause the game by press x to enter menu if u want stand still. Btw if u plan to play on pc, waiting for pc ver next week is prolly the best way to play as trainers on pc would make better cheats

Yeah, I've been using cheat engine to get the freeze time to work better on Yuzu. It's just a hassle, since the memory address always changes when you close the emulator and run it again. And since it's memory editing, sometimes it crashes and I have to find the address for the time again to freeze it. I can live with it, but if there's a built-in cheat code that everyone uses It would be better. Thanks for the update.

And yeah, I already pre-purchased the PC version for next week. I just want to have an early look at the game before the PC release to get the lay of the land (pun intended). And trainers take some time before they're available. I've posted one request on Cheathappens, but not many people voting for that game, so I dunno if they're going to release a trainer like they do for the Doraemon Story of Seasons or not. Until then, I'll just play on the Switch where most of the cheats are already working.

I imagine you know that you cannot put more than a certain amount in the Cheats folder, right? (SD card)(not even in each folder many cheats fit too). Why do I want the 790 folders (if they actually fit) on the card? It is best to put what is needed, not what is on the forum.

It is good what it offers hopefully it will be done, but you will have to investigate things here.

This is for requests yes, but it doesn't mean there is someone here that make every code someone asks for. People make codes for the games they play and then freely share them for others. People have no obligations to make the code if someone writes it. Also belittling their efforts and saying "its not that hard" is a bad way to get someone to spend there own free time to make your code.

If its not that hard feel free to "easily" make it yourself
