Homebrew Question PPSSPP retroarch core won't show text when loading a save

When I try to load/save game using the PPSSPP retroarch core, none of the text shows up.

I follow this guide:

and nothing changes. Can anyone tell me if I am doing something wrong?

I can't see anything to do with PPSSPP sorry. Can you point out where I need to be looking? Sorry pal.

m4xw also made a stand alone nro of PPSSPP. Maybe you’ll have more luck with that. Check out his twitter feed. He linked to a newly updated version not long ago.
