Hello to everyone.
I have edited the NSMB original ROM and activate "lower screen" flag on every level. Now ALL levels can be played on a GBMacro :)
You can download patch from this thread, and to apply it, use NSMB editor, a clean ROM (Europe version) and import patch from Tools/Options tab (ignore warning)
Enjoy!

PD:There are some inconvenients you should be aware of:
  • Game intro is played on upper screen, so you only can hear and see a beautiful black screen
  • You can't use reserve item this time!
  • Touch screen is useful to navigate to prevous worlds. If you have it disabled in your GBMacro, you can play only forward in worlds
  • Remember that every time you beat a castle, the game asks for saving data. Just press A + A to say "save" and "ok"

Attached is the zipped up bps patch for the above "macro-friendly" edit. You can apply the unzipped "macro-friendly" bps patch to a clean NSMB ROM (Europe) using the unzipped attached webpage.

(Note: the files are zipped up because the gbatemp is requiring it.)

Wow that awesome, it's exactly what I was looking for, and it works perfectly on my gameboy macro. Great job.
Have you done that edit for other ds games?

Hello @DukeDep
No sorry, because the edition was really easy using NSMB editor. This program only works for NSMB rom.

I went today and looked at a motorcycle someone was selling. I get there and the battery on it was dead, so the guy grabbed a battery charger and hooked it up. He plugged it into the wall, and the motorcycle sparked and started smoking. Come to find out the bike uses a 6 volt battery and the guy had the charger set to 12v. I said sorry to the dude and walked away. I felt bad for him tho.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
He ruined it basically. Sad cause it was a decent old bike. It would take more money to rewire the bike than it was worth tho.
