ROM Hack Question Injected Cloud Save

Hi! I just got a Nintendo Switch Lite. First Switch ever. Came from my old buddy the Wii U, Non Coldboot Mocha CFW. Since other than the Team Xecuter Modchip there's currently no CFW for the Switch Lite, I wanted to know if injecting a Breath of the Wild save into my brother's hacked switch on a user with my Nintendo Account, then using the cloud save feature, I can use that injected save on my stock Switch Lite without penalty? Thanks!

Being online and using the nintendo account services with a hacked switch / on CFW pretty much is an instant ban-me button D: (not exactly instant, but you can expect it within days or weeks).

Does your brother have pirated games installed in his sysnand? If so, I think there is no way you can achieve what you're trying to do without getting your account AND your brother's switch banned. You would need to use a third, clean and unpatched (for launching payloads) Switch, transfer the save to that Switch and then connecting to the internet to cloud backup it..

On the other hand, if the BOTW game is a legit digital / cartridge copy, and your brother's sysnand is clean, then yes, this is possible.

TLDR: this is kinda a complicated question, but I definitely think it can be done. You just need to have access to a Switch that can be exploited, is unbanned and has a clean sysnand (emunand doesn't matter, it can be hacked.) This can be your brother's Switch or another one you could get access to as some sort of man-in-the-middle? (i don't think this is the right term at all but still. lol)

My brother’s switch is clean and unbanned and he does have a cartridge for BOTW. Thanks for the reply! Sorry about the complicated question. Backstory for the need to do this is because ever since getting a Switch I can’t be bothered to setup all the wires and hard drive for the Wii U anymore, but I didn’t finish BOTW on there, so I needed a way to bring it over. Already working on converting my Wii U save to Switch. Thanks again!
