Hello
As you read in the title, should i homebrew my 3DS? its the "New 3DS XL" and i don't know if i should do it or not. what are the pro's and con's of it?
(I don't know if this is the right forum to post this)

Thanks for the help! ^_^

Pros:
Emulation is awesome if you like old games
Game mods are fun such as CTGP-7
Custom themes
and so much more!

Cons:
Crashes can occur but I have it happen rarely
The very slight chance you get banned from online

If you have any questions just ask :) I'm more than happy to help!

Wrong, it has been confirmed that neither Streetpass or sendin' data to Nintendo 'causes a ban.
A ban was 'caused in the old days mostly by playing a leaked game before it's released (for ex: Pokémon Sun and Moon in december 2016), but today the only bans that could happen are by cheating online.

There hasn’t really been any confirmed band from hacked systems since 2016, plus it’s extremely easy to unban yourself anyways. That being said, you should hack your system, it’s easy, takes only a few minutes and the benefits completely outweigh any possibly risks. Plus, it technically makes your system safer in some areas, like being able to unban yourself, NAND restoration if something happens, and countless other benefits. Of course, make sure you follow the proper guide and not a YouTube video

Disabling Luma´s crash handler actually significantly reduced the crash frequency on my system.

It didn't reduce it, it just doesn't show any output when it does crash
I had crashes every two days. My last crash has been six months ago. Not sure what to tell ya. The crash handler might be overly sensitive and halts execution prematurely.
