Quick question -
Is there a way to edit or toggle the flags to have all the reactions? I could not find any specific answers yet. Thanks all!
No

Was curious to know if anyone has had any experience with Money Trees using NHSE. Whenever I edit them into my save (whether put into storage or in my pockets) upon planting them, they do not contain any bells. Surely I am missing something... Haven't tested this with fruit trees yet..
I would suggest planting money trees letting them grow out on your Island in different quantities they each have different flags that indicate the amount that's going to be on it so if I were you I would do that and then you can look in the field item editor what each of the item flags are and then you can change that when you put them in your inventory with the save editor. It's a hassle I know but it's the only way atm

I am using NHSE and before i even used it my pocket upgrade wasnt available in my nook machine even after i payed off my first moving fees and upgraded my house. I was even given the nook+ but still wasnt available. Then i went to NHSE and used the flags to upgrade the pockets and all 40 spots showed up but i could still only use 20. my arrow would skip over the last two rows like they werent even there. So i read that i had to go back and undo the pocket upgrades to get them to show up so i did that and still nothing shows up in my nook redemption machine. what am i doing wrong?

Anyone know what the flag is to have the ability to put customer designs on the ground with the paintbrush? It's not lumped in with the other 'permit' flags and I'm not sure where else to look, or what I could do to have it visible in the shop.

jesus christ thats fast. so i tried doing this before on github but didnt know how :( i downloaded it but didnt see any files..
Friend notified me that the update was out so I wasn't allowed to sleep. Anyways, the files are all in the item_ids folder, as json. Just look at the one which corresponds to your Region and Language (USen).

does anyone have a list of the count for each color of each type of flower yet?

Also some useful info for NHSE: the use field of each flower reflects how much it has been watered (the friend bonus), it stores in increments of 128, so maximum bonus would be 512.

Are there any leads on changing the genetics for hybrid flowers? Adding the base flowers via codes works just fine, but since data mining dug up that flowers have rwy (and brightness) bits for gene colors, I'm wondering where those are stored/how to modify them. I'm assuming it's the "quantity" 4 bytes after the ID, but figuring out which value maps to which gene might be tricky.

If you've got already got a list of genes for the flowers (e.g. blue roses are recessive in all genes), then the binary representations of the genes are:
  • Roses: sswwyyrr
  • Everything else: 00ssyyrr or 00wwyyrr, depending on whether the flower has white/shade genes.
Both alleles dominant is coded as 11, one dominant is coded as 01, and both recessive is coded as 00, except for the white gene, where 00 is both dominant, 01 is one dominant, 11 is both recessive.

So, for example, if you've got seed red roses, and you want them to be the hybrid reds which give you a 25% of spawning a blue rose, you change it from a count of 67 (01000001) to to a count of 61 (00111101).

How do you find the new build ID? unless, did it not change?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I can confirm on the new update that none of the current cheat codes work :P the item ones it's mostly just cuz the item IDs changed
Maybe you did not update the build ID?

From Edizon overlay.. it shows the BID of any game you play and it's update
Ah, I see. I haven't updated my emumcc AC to 1.2 yet. Only did on SysCFW and my overlay doesnt work on 10.0 yet

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I guess for now, I'll keep emumcc AC on 1.1.4 to use cheats / create items. Then save them to a JKSV and transfer that to my 1.2 Sys game. Long convoluted process, but it'll do until cheats get updated.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
