Could someone point me to a post (if there already is one) that explains the Custom Item ID Injection code and how I'd be able to alter it from Slot 01 to any other slot in my inventory? I've been unable to find it xD

Like seems complicated so look for slot codes etc..
There's a cheat with x30 Eveyrhing except iron mugget or something.

So, with your first code, (credit to @Traiver here for his explanation on page 18)
04100000 AC3B90C0 00000XXX - Indicates the Item Value. The 16E0 is a Stone Axe that's unbreakable. If you wanted to replace the item with say a Gold Nugget, it'd be 09C9. You can find the Item IDs here: https://pastebin.com/raw/B8N5KKsh *(If there's an updated link, let me know and I'll replace it.)
04100000 AC3B90C4 000000XX - Indicates the Item Amount. It's not as simple as entering in a number, but if you wanted to multiply it by say x30, you'd put 1D as the last two characters.

To change the Item Slot, I believe you're editing this portion of the code:

Slot 2: 0C8 / 0CC

I've not seen any codes for item slots beyond 12, but if you follow the pattern, you should be able to keep going.

I am new to these codes, but I got most of this from observing what was said in the thread as well as codes on https://www.switchcheatsdb.com/ by @patjenova so if I've got anything wrong, please correct me!

those codes work for me perfectly, you may not be using them right. You do know you toggle the top one to keep the miles from going up so if you are on 50000 miles and pop the top code you stay at 50000 but you can't go above it, so you toggle it off and then toggle on the second code to turn the game back to normal,then turn the second code off.

Yes I know, it works exactly like the money does not decrease, and it's working for me.
But here if I toggle the first ON, and buy something with miles, my miles are decreasing!

Could you give me your code so I can test it?

Are what I have in my file, they work for me so Idno, if you really just want a lot of miles just use the money/miles x100 code and just laugh at the game whenever you pop a miles/miles+ thing from the app

No. BuildID only changes with new updates.

I've only ever used Checkpoint so I'm not familiar with either of these two and I'll need this feature to have two separate islands and would like to avoid data corruption.

Yes you can, I've given them to friends and myself to get a 10k mile boost to kick-start their sub-files so they can skip the whole intro and make extra buildings.

It sounds like you are doing local co-OP. If that's the case, you need to drop the tools then shake your remote to swap to the other person as leader, then they can pick up items.

My confusion is where the similarities are between the slot number of the normal items compared to the slot number of the custom ones.

I can't see the code to make me be able to put the gold items in slots 2-12.
I would love your help.
