  1. Open Windows registry editor by Press Windows + R, type regedit and hit the enter key.
  2. Then expand HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
  3. Double click on the value “PaintDesktopVersion” in the right-hand window.
  4. And Change the value “1” to a “0” and click OK to save changes.
  5. Close registry editor and any other programs and restart your computer.
or go on ebay and buy a key for £3

By using a proper OS instead
...or some 100% legal activator program
Proper OS? Windows has more support, more apps, and more games than ANY other OS. When I need Linux to compile code, I run it in a VM. If I need to compile an app for iOS/tvOS, I run OS X in a VM. There is literally no app, game, or task that you can do/run, that I can't on my Windows PC. I haven't even seen a BSOD since before Windows 7.

It's ok though, little buddy. Valve is coming to Linux user's rescue. :rofl2:

Apply a piece of black electric tape on top of the watermark region on your screen.
Never to be seen again!

For real though, do as the other posters say.
Either buy a legitimate key or *cough* look for some toolkit not by microsoft.

Locking this topic as question has been answered. Either pay for Windows or find out how to activate it using less legitimate means yourself.
