SX OS is not recommended on iPatched units. It lacks some important safety features.
But to answer your question, you can put anything you want as the caffeine payload, it doesn't have to be Hekate.

I have work with this guide from the beginning and its regards just for hekate.
I wondering which files i need to copy to my card to lunch SX OS?
I have already bought the license
Any help would be great
Thanks
Uh, using SX on a patched console is a really bad idea.
But replace sd:/atmosphere/reboot_payload.bin (which is what caffeine loads) with a copy of the SX payload.

It’s not intended to run on them and doesn’t have some of the protections that AMS/hekate have (like preventing you from enabling autoRCM, and forcefully disable it if it detects that it’s enabled)
I realized i just need to copy past the NSP files instead install 1 by one...this is the reason... otherwise the atmosphere worked fantastic..i have updated my version and all the games worked...

You sure it’s the right file and you named it correctly (“reboot_payload.bin”)?

i went looking and I find nothing saying sxos 2.9.3 supports i patched units. I found info that sxos 3.0 will but that has not yet been publicly released. question. Forget about emunand. If you just take the dongle plug it in and power up your switch are you getting to sxos cfw? Or are you scared to do this basically? I imagine if that black screens then that would be your answer. As long as you leave switch set to offline before booting up (just clear your wifi settings) and then wipe data I see no harm in doing this. But without you confirming it works and since I lack a patched unit to test with I would have to say I think the behavior you are seeing is because the latest 2.9.3 bin does not support ipatched switch. Has anyone here claimed it is working? Maybe I missed a post or something.

actually found this:

"For those who have enhanced version Switch, Switch Lite and Patched Switch units, sorry, but SX OS V2.9.3 isn’t working on them."

so there you have it folks. Google is indeed your friend. Good info to know and all but yeah.

Meh, the only difference between patched and unpatched units is a few bootrom instructions and some data is stored a bit differently in prodinfo & the fuses. It should work just fine.
I'm guessing it's something funky with SX's shitty hardware initialization + warmboots (or this guy messed up something *shrugs*).

this is referencing patched units above 4.1... with caffeine, you can use it to launch any payload. The one I gave to a family member has had sx os on it before, as well as hekate and atmos

I just want to know which files do i need to copy to my card..
I have an Ipatched console that can not payload with rcm loader, just with caffein.
I did the payload to hekate in success but now i want to use SX OS instead.
I have no problem to delete all the files from my card and start over from the beginning.
If someone have the list for those file i will be happy
Thanks

Is this not working for you?

https://switch.homebrew.guide/usingcfw/hekate#configuring-auto-boot-with-hekate

It shouldn't matter whether you are using fusee gelee or another exploit to load hekate, you just need to setup hekate to autoboot sx os. If you get stuck then it might be worth looking for a thread about that to avoid people telling you not to use sx os on 4.1
If you can share with me the files i need to copy it will be great
I got lost from all the information
Thanks

Once you have a SX OS configuation, like this one.

https://gist.github.com/lordfriky/66ae0e7d36c528a14a635bc97982c492

Then you should be able to make it auto by following https://switch.homebrew.guide/usingcfw/hekate#configuring-auto-boot-with-hekate

This is probably a better thread to ask on if you get stuck.

I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then

How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.
