Homebrew Question Updating nsp files

I'm having trouble updating game files I have the nsp update file that I need but how do I get it onto the switch? Tried googling and everything, Thanks
Trying to update Mario Odyssey I have update file.

Put it on the Switch SD card root. Then use Tinfoil or SXOS Installer to install

If you google Tinfoil app for Switch it should come up on Github

If you have the NSP file on your computer. what i use are 2 programs 1 for the computer and 1 for the switch so i don't have to take out the sd card and place the file inside. i just transfer it and install it over usb cable.

Ns-usbloader: to transfer the file to my switch

and on the switch i use

Awoo Installer: to install the file that i send from the computer
