Hacking TWiLight Menu++ Flashcard or SD difference ?

Just wanted to know if I can use the compatibility from the flashcard with the font of Twilight Menu++ .
Would i get better compatibilty if i install Twilight menu on the Flashcard or would it be the same as if I installed it normaly on my sd card ?

If you just want to use Twilight Menu++ as a skin for you flash card, it will have the flash cards compatibility. If you want to move all of your Roms from your flash card to Twilight Menu, you will have NDS-bootstraps compatibility.

then i guess it would be best to sue the flashcard. how would it be possible to use Twilight menu as skin for my flashcard. So installing it on a flashcard just means that i can use it on every 3ds without having to install it on 3ds ?

If you want to load roms from SD follow this steps:

1. Download a pack for your flashcard: * DSTT/R4i Gold/R4i-SDHC/R4 SDHC Upgrade/SC DSONE * Original R4/M3 Simply * R4iDSN/R4i Gold RTS/R4 Ultra * Galaxy Eagle/M3DS Real * Acekard RPG * Ace 3DS+/Gateway Blue Card/R4iLS/R4iTT (Saving does not work.) * SuperCard DSTWO
2. Extract what's in for Slot-1 microSD to the root of the flashcard's microSD card.
3. In TWLoader.7z, extract the files/folders in the "flashcardsdroot (all)" and "flashcardsdroot (flashcardnamehere)" folders to the flashcard's microSD card root. Do not extract the "flashcardsdroot (all)" or "flashcardsdroot (flashcardnamehere)" folders themselves to the microSD card root.
4. Launch TWLoader.
5. Press START, and change game location to flashcard.
6. Launch the Add Games menu.
7. Select a .nds file.
8. The banner and .ini files will be created, and your game will show up in TWLoader.

• (Optional) TWLoader auto download boxart from the Intenet. If you want to use your custom boxart, follow this steps:
  • Create (or download) your .png file that's 128x115.
  • Name the .png file to the same filename as the game, but with .png added to the end. (ex. your rom is name game.ini, boxart will be game.ini.png)
  • Save it to SD:\_nds\twloader\boxart\flashcard\.

To launch your game on the flashcard:

1. Open TWLoader, and press START if theme is set to DSi Menu.
2. Change game location to Flashcard.
3. Go to Settings.
4. Press R (or touch R bottom in touch screen) 3 times to go to NTR/TWL Settings.
5. Select Flashcard(s) select.
6. Pick your flashcard.
7. If your game location is set to Flashcard you'll see the generated .ini.
8. Select your generated .ini file, and your ROM should load.

Test out TWiLight Menu++ and see if you like it before deciding whether to buy the R4i Gold 3DS Plus.

If you dont have a flashcart to play NDS game like me, then Twilight++ is good to get. It can play NDS game off the SD card.
If you have a flashcart (that works) then there's no need to get Twilight++ as it will only become an extra menu (and some speedup feature) for your NDS list of games. It's only for those who like fancy stuff. Plus right now Twilight++ is turning into a multi console emulator (can play genesis, snes, gba, etc)

Although playing NDS games without a flashcart sounds great, but there's a compatibility issue when playing some NDS games from 3DS SD card. Some of the games just doesn't work and there's other that have bugs like an emulator. I guess Twilight++ is a NDS emulator for 3DS.

Maybe your saves are in a different format than what the blue card wants them in.

Never-mind, they work...
Dude from here write that they not (but bc write saves to rom folder and twilight to saves folder)
