If you have a compatible SATA chipset or a X360 USB Pro then yes.

From what I can remember LT 2 is the final FW for Hitachi 47 drives.
If you have LT 2 on it, there's no reason to update.

No, all disc based backups must be burnt on a Verbatim DVD+R DL.
Make sure to stealth patch them.

All retail 360 backups are either 7.29 GB or 8.13 GB in size.

I've got no clue what you backupped or pirated but a 200 MB ISO won't boot on a flashed 360.

Pretty sure your ISO is missing the padding.
It won't stealth pass w/o it.

The DVD laser will burn out eventually, installing discs to the HDD puts less strain on it tho.

Depends on what you want to "fix"
If the HDD has crashed then it doesn't make sense to "fix" it.

You could take a look at hddhackr.

That reminds me that you could probably get a replacement drive at that point.
Or you could try replacing the laser, but that would require soldering and some kind of chemical that melts existing metal.

360 harddrives are laptop drives with a security sector.
You'll have to have a Western Digital Scorpio drive in order to get HDDhackr to work.
