Plain as day--K. Hiruta (a main develpoer) wants to bring SoA to the future, but I think we should "Febreeze before we fart" (get a plan before you get that "shit smell" A.K.A. "Ugh, it's gonna be a port--I h8 ports.", "Will they include the OG on the same cart?" "It's gonna suck.", "SS3 Goku for Sm4.5h (prob Dante)?"

So, I think we should focus on what we want, tell this man, and maybe actually get something positive done as a community.

Well given that I never played the original, a HD remaster would be very nice. A package which includes the gameplay enhancements contained in the GameCube version and the higher quality music contained in the Dreamcast version.

That's where the question lies--I think if we focus on whether it should be a direct sequel or set in the same universe, we could help the developers get an idea of what the fans want.

Personally, I want a direct sequel, but for "story reasons" I can see them (devs) not wanting to continue and by doing that, they can change the VA's flawlessly, as well as introduce new concepts, and then, pull a XC1/2 XC1ReReM
I mean, it's on the same path (Soa (DC), Soa (GC), Soa 2 (Sw), Soa Remake HD Definitive edition (sw)).
