Hacking SX Installer Help

I have SX Installer 3.02.
Can i ask with game updates and DLC which is the easiest way to obtain these using SX installer?
I have gone into a game in the installed tab and download updates and DLC is on.
How will i know if an update is available?

You can simply check google and download the update. Install it like usual with sx installer.

I haven’t followed the latest releases and features of sx installer but I never heard of this.

The latest SX installer isnt working for me at all.I updated my firmware and then updated my SX installer only to get the message FATAL ERROR INTERCEPTED. ERRORO REASON-.NRO FILE MISSING FROM DECLARED PATH.PLEASE FIX PATH AND TRY AGAIN

Any ideas?

Sounds like your missing the nsp from the sx folder.
Make sure you have sx.nro there also

So do I just put both the NSP and sx.nro on the root of my SD card?

No.
They need to be in switch -> sx folder
Switch -> sx (in here)

It doesn't, but you can try using Tinfoil with HGB shop or Jack in the shop to receive updates/DLCs among other things ...

I have the latest firmware and SXOS boot file

Its the recommended one for SXOS (Exfat I think?). I am using a Mac but this happened even on a Mac. Its really annoying, before all I had to do was copy the new Installer across and it would work

Yeah I did that too. Regardless of if I added the NRO or overhead the older one, upon booting it up in the SXOS home-brew it would go to a black screen and say:
FATAL ERROR INTERCEPTED. ERRORO REASON-.NRO FILE MISSING FROM DECLARED PATH.PLEASE FIX PATH AND TRY AGAIN

When I clicked home, the SX Installer picture would be on the main screen as if it was a game, but couldn't be opened, only closed :?

Ive just deleted Goldleaf by Xortroll or something as I read somewhere he deliberately caused issues for SX users or something...?
