Hi all,
I am having the option to obtain a brand new japanese "New 3DS" for which I would want to change the region to Europe.
I have carefully read the "Region Changing" guide on 3ds.hacks and understood the importance of never accessing the eshop while the console system would still be japanese if I wish to be able to access the eshop once I performed the region change to europe.
Would the following process be appropriate to end up in a situation where my console would be equivalent to an out of the box european one ?
Even if you are not able to help me but took the time to read until the end of this post I would like to thank you for that

Would the following process be appropriate to end up in a situation where my console would be equivalent to an out of the box european one ?
- Boot the new system and go through initial mandatory setup.
- Create a Mii so I can obtain a Friend Code required for CFW setup.
- Eventually update the console firmware for CFW setup.
- Apply the 3ds.hacks guide to get my console on CFW.
- Apply the 3ds.hacks guide region changing process.
- Perform a standard system transfer from my existing european New 3DS to this newly obtained region changed one and have it behave exactly like the source console.
Even if you are not able to help me but took the time to read until the end of this post I would like to thank you for that
