Hardware problem with component cable on wii

Some time ago i brought a component cable for my wii since i wanted to look it better on my TV but i have a problem with it, when i try to power it on with the cable attached i get black screen with sound after a while i could make it work by connecting the cable some time after powering on the console but every time i change apps(hombrew channel, usb loader or load a game) i get black screen again and i have to disconnect the cable before loading the new app and connect it after the game loads i already changed it to 480p on the configurations and the cable is a new one(just not official)
anybody knows something about this issue or how to fix it?

It would be interesting to see if the problem is the same if you switch back to the RCA (non-component) cables. This really doesn't seem like a component cable problem. And even the lower-quality, non-Nintendo component cables should work fine, even though I'd recommend using the real ones (which can be hard to find now).

Maybe someone else has experienced this?

When i connect the RCA cables it works as it should(of course with lower quality) i tried 2 different TVs and i get the same problem
also it seems i only get black and white when trying to play gamecube games(with nintendont)

Black and white... I think that happens because the game and the console aren't compatible with each other. Like playing PAL Gamecube discs on NTSC Gamecube consoles.

i get sound i just get a blank screen(i get a no signal on my TV)
i got gamecube games to work with colors by running them using only nintendont(i used usb loader gx to load them with nintendont)

It's probably your cable's pins then.
They're either bad and need to get soldered back to the wire... or the problem might be in the connection itself (the connection that goes to the console and not the pin)

Your TV accepts 480i? try that. Or any other option.

That happened to me when playing Metal Slug (or another NeoGeo game). The resolution was incompatible with my 4K TV (I was using a Wii2HDMI), and got a black screen.

If you can, try in another TV just for kicks.

No because he and I are from mexico. We don't have interlaced scan on NTSC tv's.
Unless he's using a smartTV and not an old CRT like I do.

If he is using a component cable, I'm almost sure he has an HDTV. Or his CRT is gigantic? Or maybe he is connecting a Component cable to and RGB input? I don't think that would work, though...

I dont know a lot about TVs but i think im using an SDTV
When i try force progressive scan on nintendont i get black screen on both RCA and Component cables
just something to add my ps3 and ps2 works without problems on that TV using Component cables if that matters

Dude I told you, the problem is that your component cable's Video is desoldered, thus the signal can't reach your TV.
That's why even though you connect the component cable to any TV you get sound but not picture.
You have two choices:
1.- Get a brand new cable.
2.- Solder the Video pin back to it's wire.

well the cables are brand new and worked like this since i got them and i can see they work(im using them on the photo) so i was wondering if the console changes to a different video mode or something if i power it on with the cable attached i get blank screen but if i connect it after the console is already on it works but i get blank screen every time i change the app so i have to open the app/game without the cable and connect it after the game has loaded and then i have no problems
EDIT: it seems there was a misunderstanding i have both RCA cables and component cables the component cables are the ones im having issues with the RCA(the ones that came with the wii) are fine the ones im using on the photo are the component cables and it only works if i turn on the wii without the video cables and connect them after the wii loaded correctly but if i change app or game like i said already i get blank screen so i use the RCA cables to navigate and load the game i want and then change to component
also my tv is sanyo vizon ht27546 apparently is from 2006

Your tv can't eat 480p, then.

odd that 480p doesn't work. it's usually 240p that's the problem (i.e. psx and below consoles). however, getting sound and no video is what happens when the resolution isn't supported. if you could try a wii u, it might work. I think wii games are upscaled to 720p. the only other alternative I can think of is either try another tv or being a framemeister/ossc.

A lot of CRT that claims to be EDTV don't support 480p they have the input but don't support that resolution, you need to test the cable in other TV to be sure that the problem is the cables or the TV. I already buy a samsung 40" FHD tv J5290 (latin american exclusive) and it takes 480p from component without problems.
