Hardware Switch repair and custom firmware

Hi, so I recently got some problems with my console and was wondering how parts replacement can affect on modding (I mean being able to run cfw). So I know that replacing mother board would kill hack features but what about USB port replacement, resoldering something on main board or battery replacement. What would turn off custom features and what no?

Nintendo will not repair a modded product, I guess.
USB can be replaced, the only hardware part you would care is Nvidia Tegra chip

I know they wouldn't fix it but there are plenty of non authorized by nintendo repair centers. The thing is will for example replacing usb can affect on cfw working?

Replacing a USB port will have no impact on CFW working.
