I decided to contribute a theme to Themeplaza and created a theme based on Fable: the Lost Chapters. I created BGM for the theme as well. When I preview the theme, there is BGM. But when I install it and I boot my 2DS, there is no BGM for this theme. There is, however, BGM for every other theme. Any ideas as to the cause? I'm using version 2.1.0-b. The theme is attached below.

This is probably a super noob question but can I delete a theme directly from the anemone app? I have a New 3DS XL and I really hate having to unscrew the bottom everytime to access the microSD card.

Any chance this could be updated to modify extdata for the Korean Homemenu.

It seems that according to 3dbrew themes don’t work although the code is there for them, but I am not sure that is 100% accurate.

I was able to use built-in themes (not custom themes) by swapping in extdata from my Japanese console that was set to black theme and got it to carry over to my Korean console just fine.

I copied it over with Godmode9 and fixed CMACs and that was all there is to it.

problem is that homebrew apps are not aware of the existence of extdata for the Korean homemenu and can’t set themes this way. This should at least allow to switch between the default themes vs being stuck with white.

I am having issues where no theme appears when opening my N3DS XL when I set 10 shuffle themes.
Currently using 2.01v.
If I click on an application and return. The theme shows up.
Is this an error or is there some way to bypass this?

I think the project is dead. I dont see it being fixed for awhile if at all. life happens

I seen it work on another N3DS XL. The only difference is memory card size as it takes awhile to load about a 128gb sd card.
Or is my version not up to date if a 2.10v exist?

Ive been using the build before the last update and it works but the lastest build is broken and we've all complained about it. the devs have said the project isnt dead but they got real life to tend to so there you go. I think its dead but id love to be wrong because i love this theme manager

There is a version 2.1. The titledb website (which Universal Updater uses) has version 2.01. Try getting the latest update from the GitHub page and see if that works for you.

I haven't been gaming for such a long time. Been mostly busy with sleep, hardware tinkering and checking GBAtemp frequently.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Hope you've had a good morning.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
It's going alright thanks :) I know what you mean with gaming time. It's precious where I can get it these days.

I think that's why I focus on just enjoying single player experiences that aren't too competitive

    How are you doing?

There's also this thing where I'm hyperfocused at night and cannot get to sleep.

    @Maximumbeans, I'm doing alright, thanks.

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.

@Maximumbeans, I had a friend who had a glass chess set for their birthday.

It was like all clear and fancy. Tbf I'm not too experienced with chess, but would like to learn someday.
