Gaming how do we know if a switch is dying?

we know that there are some switch that are faulty but still working and somehow, pokemon sh/sw will accelerate the destruction of the switch

so how do i test if a switch has faulty hardware or not when buying a secondhand switch?

How do u mean the pokemon game is a switch killer? The game save bug? Its a software issue its not going to harm the switch in any way

Were these copies of game illegal copies as bad people pass copies around that design to brick switch, super smash, resident evil and lets go had illegal copies pass around design to brick people switches which why i buy my games

Oh yes. Of course. Normal game is more damaging than a normal game. Makes total sense to me.
Let's say that a typical NAND flash can withstand about 1000000 p/e cycles (probably more today). Without considering any extra stuff, even with 1000 cycles per day your NAND will survive for almost 3 years.
