Hacking Action Replay Powersaves for Amiibos

i can't get mine to work on a windows pc. it keeps telling me that it can't detect the hardware. i tried it on a mac and oddly enough it worked on that.

After some use, mine rarely ever works with actual rewriting on amiibos, but works flawlessly with the tag that comes in the box. Also able to get fierce deity and skyward sword sets

I have a question when i try to scan in those .bins as well as the splatoon 2 amiibos they are not reconized and just say AMIIBO

Need some help, hoping this is a good thread to ask on. I use Amiibo Powersaves and there's the option that says Apply Cheat. There are very few games and not many cheats for them. The electronic manual for the software implies that there is a way to add more games and cheats, but I absolutely cannot figure out how or even if this can be done. I've looked everywhere and found nothimg on the subject, so I just want a definitive answer. Can you add more games and/or cheats to Action Replay Powersaves for Amiibo, and if yes, is it only for Wii U games or can Switch games and codes be added, too?
