Team-Xecuter Solution coming soon for latest Switch models

It seems that TX has found a way to modify the latest Switch consoles, including the newly released Lite
SXMOD.png

Since the new 'red box' Mariko units appeared, people have been asking when will it be possible to run CFW on it, well today MaxConsole was in touch with trusted TX reseller, that been given some advance news on a new solution that is coming soon, and that it infact works on all new Switch models, not just the 'patched' ones, but even the 'mariko', and 'lite' models as well, see below what they mentioned:
TX has recently taken the time to demonstrate to us some of their Work-In-Progress. Notably for 'patched' and 'mariko' units which is very advanced, and works flawlessly. We were not given a firm date or prices yet, but knowing TX we know the price will be very reasonable. We also saw early beta for Switch Lite console as well.
So that above is great news, and we will have more in the coming weeks, as we have requested to get an early sample from the trusted TX reseller, so that we can share more info with our loyal readers, on how TX's new solution works and what is involved and pics of course!

Its an empty promise now, but this will just give us high expectations in the long run. Oh and a side order of hate in this thread.

Was thinking in buying an old patched unit as a backup system... guess now ill shift to the lite model instead.

If the hack doesn't materialize, at least the lite should hold most of its value better than the old patched unit.

Hope we can get some "official" confirmation before black friday... ^_^

So from what I'm reading in all of this, if what you've posted is true, then it stands to reason what was done was an attempt to purposely disseminate misinformation to cause 1 of 2 things to happen.

1st: For MaxConsole, it makes one ask if they were told by TX to post that information, without proof of any kind, and they did. That would harm their reputation, which is their own fault, as well as hints that TX are liars. Or TX showed them 'proof', which may be the same screenshots from SciresM, which again harms MaxConsole's rep because they didn't do their research, and exposes TX as liars. MaxConsole will have to do some damage control and maybe post an update showing their proof/evidence to what they claim to be given, as just deleting said thread won't do anything to help repair the damaged image.
or 2nd: Exposes TX to be a bunch of thieves who steal credit for the hard work of hacking that others do, and they would jump the gun while trying to figure out how to steal from said exploit-finder.

That's of course if what ScireM said is true, and TX does in fact have nothing at all. But if TX does have something, then that'll some evidence supporting them and showing they have their own competent team to find exploits on their own. However I personally can't condone or support a product who's only purpose is for piracy. Open Source CFW at least gives you an option, but is primarily focused on work to create homebrew libraries for homebrew apps and games. When TX first released their CFW for the switch, it had no homebrew support at all, and they took a long time to update to support homebrew in a buggy state. Still, if one person finds an exploit, someone else will find the same one, so no matter who finds it first, the community is the one that benefits.

I'm just giving as fair and balanced a comment as I can, which I'm sure someone will complain it isn't balanced enough, that I should give more on one or the other side, but it's my comments, my opinions, my thoughts.

Even before people started talking shit on TX, people complained about it. Classic.
I want to believe this. But coming from a reseller and not TX, eh.

Yeah, though the lite units still have the same joystick drift problem, except not as easy a fix as on the OG Switch. On the OG Switch, you can just disassemble the joycon and do some repairs. For the Lite, gotta void the entire warranty or send it in for repairs.

I hope it's a flashcart that can run game dumps (with certs) in an unmodified HorizonOS. A man can dream...
Now THAT would be something. Still have to dump the firmware off the card reader slot to get the encryption keys, but if you can dump a full game from a card to an MicroSD that is in a flash cart, you essentially can get the Switch version of the Sky3DS. It would still be piracy, and would also be easily noticeable to Big N with every game having a card-unique private key, but at least you could play a game without having to void the warranty for your console. Only reason you'd want to void it after that would be for things like homebrew and cheats. Now if only you could streamline patches directly into the rom data, then you would be able to save space on the console's SD.

I do actually appreciate the balanced stance. But I'd like to think about it this way.
They've been promising a ipatch/mariko hack for a year and three months and they've come out with no evidence or proof that they are even working on one.

And as soon as SciresM comes out with something (that isn't even an hack) they suddenly came out and announced something again with no proof because it doesn't exist.

Is it April fools in some other part of the world ?

The damage control thing to say is we will not release it at this time since its the only exploit found :yayswitch:

But would be cool if it were true .. to be continued I guess :ninja:

If you're using emunand and are cautious, and know what you're doing, then using cfw as now also won't void your warranty. Restore clean nand backup, remove your SD and that's it, no trace of cfw ever.

I agree their promises in the past, and failing to deliver, haven't helped them too much with their claims, and the timing of their announcement, at least through a 3rd party, is suspiciously coincidental. We'll see just how honest their claim is in the future, if it's real or if ScireM has tricked them into showing their hand in regards to this 'hack' being nothing but hot air. Again, if it's the latter, then it'll harm their reputation, but also give the 'haters' some fuel to try and generalize and claim they stole from others, which so far I have found most of the claims circumstantial, again due to the suspicious timing of TX announcements after individuals announcing the same thing.

Right now it's a flip of a coin what TX is doing, if the news posted through MaxConsole is real or fabricated to raise hype for something they don't have.
