Well if it's the costume DLC that causes the codes to not work it'd probably be more helpful to put 'can't be used with costume DLC installed' as a note in the psv
This is also why I suggested that people who create codes should note what DLC they had installed when they made the codes, or ensure they have all DLC/whatever is available before making codes and note that it needs all DLC to work.

Oh, do the codes require no DLC? that would be right then. But ya, basically just adding what DLC is needed in the notes section is super helpful. I usually add all DLC when I can, because I assume most people want to have the DLC as well. But I do note that DLC is required when I make them.

You shouldn't have to do anything besides turning them on... The comments are just my notes, you don't have to do anything there. They don't always LOOK like they do anything, though. Did you try activating Inf HP and then taking damage, to see what happens to HP?

If that doesn't work, can you try 2 things for me?
1st, Try disabling all un-needed plugins in your Tai/Config.txt file. (ask, if you don't know how or which ones. We can always help with that.)

2nd, If plugins didn't help, can you send me a dump of your game from 81000000 - 86000000? (again, just ask for help if you don't know)

I tried the hp one first and i went to a spider and it killed me with the cheat activate, same thing with sanity and hunger. I only use NonpDRM, Lolicon for overclock and Vitacheat that i put in manualy, I used the Nps browser DUMP of the game, no idea if that has anything to do with it.

No. Your firmware doesn't matter. It all works the same.

Yohoki Seems like the cheats works as intended, I don't know why but i just started a save 2 to retry and they suddenly works. Might be something with how the game generates but no matter, really great cheats.

When you made the dump, did you check if they worked? If they didn't, I can make the codes work better than before. Pointers are tricky, and sometimes it's a guessing game. I had a list of ~10 that COULD be the right one, but no way of knowing until one stops working.

Edit: I'm actually able to look at your dump right now to see what was going on, so I'm downloading it now.

The darkness damage is normal. The bar updates every time you take damage so it shows that you took damage, even though it's still "full" in the code. If you have 150 HP and take 30 damage, it will show 120HP... but if you take another 5 damage, it will then update to show 145hp. If you're somehow unlucky enough to take 150 damage in one single hit, you'll die even with the code on.... but if you take 149 damage and then 5 damage, you'll still have 145hp.... it's confusing, but it's how cheats work sometimes. Can't really fix it.

Ok. If the codes didn't work when you made the dump, that's good. I can add it in with my own dumps to narrow down the pointers.

It's probably because I was using a modified version of the game. I'll have to look into it sometime soon. It's pretty easy to hack, I just need to clear room on my vita for it, which is currently full. Sorry. I made these codes when I was new to vita hacking and wasn't aware that that would affect the codes.

I actually played through most of SAO:HR before I realized I hadn't updated the game, the patches added A LOT of stuff and almost totally overhauled the combat system.

Man its been awhile since I last came here, or touched my Vita as a matter of fact. Got caught up playing mmo's all summer, now I miss my Vita. Reading several pages on what I missed.

anyone know if its possible to delete a game update without deleting the entire game, or have i to delete the full game then re download it again to get back to v1.0

Sadly you cant delete a game update you need to delete the whole game. Any chance you can find cheats for the ambition mode off the game? Like weapon materials and such?

Actually you can delete game updates same with DLC and keep your save file. Not sure if its game specific but I have done this for Dragon's Crown. You have to delete or rename the update files so the Vita doesn't read it either with FTP or vitashell. Also there should be a license folder that's made when you update a game that needs to be deleted or renamed. I can't remember where this folder is located since I haven't touched my vita in awhile but when I did it for Dragon's Crown, I was able to continue my save on a lower version of the game.

One game id love to do is mgs2 but it never gives anything of use.

I actually posted a Inf HP pointer code for Raiden and Emma I made a few pages back for MGS2. Not sure if it worked for others though. I think the only thing I couldn't find was the ammo address for the Snake scenario missions. No matter how high I searched, I could never find it. Same for HP too I think.

Is there by chance any working codes for both disgaea 3 and 4 usa region? I tried the disgaea 3 codes from the database but they don't do anything. No idea if it's because i updated them to theyre latest version or something.

I'm trying to use the Disgaea 3 (PCSE00022) that are listed on here and the wiki, and not a single one of them is doing anything, am I doing something wrong? The cheats appear in the Vitacheat, but no matter which I toggle on, not one of them has an effect. I don't think it's a problem with my Vitacheat, since my Adventures of Mana codes worked fine. Is there something I'm missing?

I gotta apologies for the Disgaea 3 codes that were done by me. I kind of jumped the gun on those codes and was still new at making them. Not only were they made on the base version of the game(version 1.00), the updated version(version 1.01) changed the address. Added to the fact that the game's address changes slightly meaning I need to find a pointer. Finding addresses is piss easy as you can find everything with simple searches. Problem I had was, I could never get the address to change in order to made a 2nd dump for a pointer, no matter how many times I restarted my Vita.

Just to get an idea on how long it took for me to notice the address changing, all those codes you see in the database have worked for me for months without changing even while also restarting my Vita many times. This is the main reason I've been putting off trying to fix those Disgaea 3 codes(but really just didn't feel like it). I probably should have requested them to be taken down until I get around to them.

You can remove the DLCs without deleting everything. You should try rebuilding your database first and see if it now works. If it doesn't delete the DLCs then rebuild then see if it works. Sometimes rebuilding database helps as sometimes even with pointers the whole placement can shift. Happened to me to some games and sometimes restarting Vita or rebuilding helps.

The problem why the MGS2 Cheats are not Showing up is how the Text is Written in the PSV file you uploaded. There need to be 2 Spaces under the Game Code name and 1 Space between each code. So it have to look like this for example:

Also on the Cheatlist for this game you posted there ist a list of Numbers for the Inf Weapon and Item Cheats. You need to delete the complete Item List in order for the Cheat list to show up.
I uploaded a cheat list that is 100% working. Also tested the cheats and can confirm that they are working perfect.

Is this only for the individually installed games? I have the HD collection installed and it only shows the cheats for mgs3, not 2. Supposedly cheats for games are included in that file. It ends with 20.

Also if I do activate a cheat in mgs3, then the game freezes on a black screen when it cuts to a cut scene and I have to exit out.

Also I fond a Metal Gear Solid 2 HP codes. This was alot easier than I expected. This was only tested in the Plant section with Raiden, not sure if it works with Snake yet but so far it works fine.

That is awesome that you found that HP code for mgs2. I will definitely use it.

I'm having trouble with the cheats for the HD collection when I play MGS3. They activate fine, but when the game goes to a cut scene it freezes on a black screen and I have to exit out.

Any ideas?
