Thank you. I know it's not possible but what I'm trying to ask is are there any teams working for hacking patched swiitches?

Sorry but we are not with those teams so we have no idea about them working for hacking patches switches. Maybe in the future -- 3-5 years later or so. Who knows. You are better off sell it to get one at Ebay or something or deal with it and buy games instead.

I'll save you some time, only some Asian consoles ship with 5.x (XAJ700417 - XAJ700437). So picking up a brand new pre-revision Switch elsewhere is pretty safe as far as deja vu goes.

Thank you. So if I buy a patched unit in the UK (Amazon) I will be able to install CFW? Which is best guide for me to read?

Hi guys, I had a brand new Nintendo Switch this week. But I realised that it's patched so I've updated it to 8.1.0 from 4.1.0. Is there any way to hack this switch? If not is there any exact time for sx os supoorts patched 8.1.0 switches? My serial number is XAJ10051257230

Patched means patched, dude. You can't hack your Switch, especially after updating it to 8.1.0. If you stayed on 4.1.0 you could've actually used CFW on it without a jig.

Is this really true? If I go to wal-mart right now and pickup any old switch they have on the shelf the max fw will be 4.1? Anyone else able to confirm it? The guide on here only has serial numbers for unpatched switches but how do I find serial numbers for patched switches with firmware 4.1 and below?

Sweet I am going to look at buying new rather then used if all North American switches are at 4.1

From what I read it seems I won't be able to use android on a deja vu 4.1 switch.

Android works with Deja Vu. If you have a patched 4.1.0 Switch that doesn't have the browser supernag, you can use Android.

Luckily the Switch I purchased second hand came with 3 games, one of which was Mario Kart :). I think I’m just going to keep it and if an exploit is found I will then explore CFW.

Did you purchase a patched Switch? Depending on its system version, it might never be hackable.

Yes I knew it was patched running 8.1. It was 6 months old with 3 games at £150. As the price was so good I thought I’d just see what happens in the future, Mario Kart came with it so I knew I’d be amused for a while :).

It probably won't ever be hacked. If you care about hacks, you should probably get rid of this one and buy an unpatched one before you get attached.

@Lacius if I get a Nintendo Switch – Neon Red and Neon Blue Joy-Con - HAC 001 will it be in 4.1.0 firmware

patched consoles are still coming with 4.1.0. Mariko systems are coming with 8.x

Mariko is already hacked, but not publicly. You have to wait until the hacker-team wants to share its success with the rest of the world. Be patient:)
