Hello. I am currently trying to load games to an external HDD, but no WBFS managers (I know for certain it is formatted to WBFS) are able to access it. They can't even format it. Windows can't initialize it either. It has some games as well. I am also unable to get WiiFlow Lite (When using WiiFlow it worked just fine) to even detect the hard drive when it is connected to my Wii. I guess all I'm trying to say is that I need help getting the drive detected by my PC and Wii.

Use FAT32 instead, there's no point to WBFS formatted drives anymore and they only work for Wii games, no GC, no emulators or anything like that. You should use Wii Backup Manager to manage the drive.
If you already have games on the drive you can use wbfs2fat to convert it.

If the issue is a damaged HDD, you must try and repair it first, before trying to convert/format to FAT32.

For that kind of "repairs", I recommend using Testdisk (most recent version was 7.0 from last time I checked), it's a very powerfull and most importantly freeware app to solve HDD issues, but its to be used on a command prompt. Be careful though, on the wrong hands it can turn your harddrive useless.
Another app that works simmilarly is Victoria (most recent version was 4.7.3.0) and this one does have a GUI.

Ok. I'm going to try to use wbfs2fat. If that doesn't work, I'll replace the drive with a spare and do something with it sometime in the future.

I got a permission denied for the drive with wbfs2fat. Any idea why?
