Guys can someone tell me how can i put any NSP game 4GB+ on my FAT32?
I got 8.1.0 and everytime i try with any software it get stucked at 0%.
Games under 4GB i can install them with goldtree but when i had 7.0.1 with tinfoil usb was working perfectly, now don't.
Any help?
You cannot put an NSP file that is more than 4GB onto the FAT32 SD card and install from there. You are correct that you need to install it over USB or Wi-Fi. I recommend using the DZ version of Tinfoil instead and using that in conjunction with nut to install over USB.

Alternatively, you could backup the contents of your SD card and reformat it as exFAT, but installing over USB is easier.

I never had any issues with exfat. Sandisk 400Gb here...

I read that you got an high chance the file can be corrupted and then you have to format everything. Isn't that risky?

You also have a chance that the card breaks down... or the switch stop working... or a meteorite falls down on your house!
Everything is a chance!

Just make backups of your saves and you are safe!

There is allegedly a higher risk of corruption using exFAT, depending on what you're doing. However, I've been using exFAT since the beginning, and I've never had any issues. I make periodic backups of my save files with Checkpoint, just in case.

Exfat is Less reliable and robust than either NTFS or HFS+ and slower than a native file system. Exfat lacks redundant file tables, which even FAT32 had. The lack of Journaling can lead to data loss as well.

That's what I'm gonna say! Jut make periodically backups of your saves (for your PC) and you are safe!

I always transfer the nsp to the card and install from there. But that's me!
Accuracy 100%.

The DZ verison of Tinfoil used in conjunction with nut on the computer over USB is the best way to install NSP files, in my opinion. It keeps everything organized, it's stable, and you can even use it to scan for outdated files.

If this is the method you choose, it really doesn't matter if you're using FAT32 or exFAT.

Guys I have a problem here: I updated my system today, updated my Atmos data - I can launch Atmos but when I try to start a game, it always gives me an error message including "game could not be launched"
They worked fine before the update, what happened?

The latest Captain Toad update only requires 7.0.1, and that's if you don't patch it.
