Hardware error code 2016-0610.corrupted sd card. What causes this ? No google results for error code

Am I the only person who got this error code ?

Switch is latest firmware.
I use the latest version of atmosphere.
I own some basic NSPs like mario kart.
SD card is fat32

my sd card COULD be fake if that what you are implying

Samsung Memory 128GB EVO Plus Micro SD

but it says 119gb, so I assume it's real. Fake ones will say 127gb or even higher than 128

Copy all your file off to a computer , do a h2testw test on it, see if you get any error. As for format should use FAT32 instead of exFAT.

You wouldn't know until you test the card, it can still be fake.

Could just be older stock, but fakes are so rampant on eBay, even if the card looks legit and the price is right chances are high that it's fake. Fakes even slip in on sites like Amazon sometimes, when workers have ran a ghost shift producing SD cards using faulty/scrap flash memory, while technically from the same factory as the legit cards, the flash memory is lower quality (high chance of corruption, slower speed), and they could do stuff like this where the capacity is faked.
