I do not have a NAND backup. Lesson learned. It will be the first thing I do if I get this one working, or when I purchase my new one (if need be).

I connected to the internet and my switch downloaded an update for my 8.0.1 Switch.

I disconnected from the internet but each time I ran software it would remind me of the update... until I accidentally hit Accept and my Switch immediately rebooted. At this point, I could no longer boot.

I ran through the steps to recover from the guide on switch.homebrew

The guide directed me to use ChoiDujour but the only firmware that would work with the application was 6.X. So, I decided to install 6.0.2 on my switch (a downgrade).

I ran through all the steps successfully, but when I attempt to run the CFW I get the following error.

Initializing...

Found pkg1 ('xxxxxxxxx-numbers-xxxxxxxxxxx').

Identified pkg1 and Keyblob 5

Found FSS0, Atmosphere 0.8.10-422DCE63
Max HOS supported: 8.0.1
Unpacking and Loading Components.. Done!
Loaded pkg1 & keyblob
Loadedd warmboot and secmon
Read pkg2
Parsed ini1
(in orange)Patching kernel
(in orange)Patching kips
(in red)Failed to apply 'nosigchk'!
(in red)Failed to launch firmware.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

usually it wont boot due to fuses if this is the case tho you should in theory be able to boot using rcm only.....unless you reinstall current firmware, which now with emunand out i highly recommend and use without ban issue happening thanx to incognitop and dare i say it.... enmunand switch....... i havent had a need for patched youtube, i can use fortnite and the other free online apps tetris 99 and even hulu all my "nsp" "xci" and hombrewing is done on the emunand and cause the sysnand is current firmware no nags and all real stuff works.... and for the recoed i leave auto rcm off... i mean i have an xkit... why not use it...lol how lazy can you get...lol :)

since ur system updated, fuses have been burnt and a downgrade attempt will result in failure to boot, and since u have no back up, u have no way to reverse the damage done, lessons to be learned: always make a backup when fucking with shit u dont fully understand
