Hacking SX OS Boot stock vs Hekate?

I'm just wondering why using AutoRCM SXOS can boot to latest stock firmware still. Yet Hekate can't?

Does SXOS boot to stock burn fuses? I'm ok with that but i'd rather not use SXOS.

Hekate hasnt been updated since 8.0.1 and SXOS has, hekate also required sept to boot stock which required atmosphere. The same way atmosphere/sxos/hekate require code to boot the latest CFW, it is no different to booting the latest stock. Also SXOS through stock Auto-Rcm doesnt burn fuses if you update.

Hekate hasn't update to support latest yet due to some reasons *not entirely sure Atmosphere does work however, and you can use hekate to boot fusee primary or aka atmosphere.

sx os released 8.1.0 support first & they don't use the same method. They would need to invent a time machine.

Im no fanboy of either . Both have their own advantages, and i never said atmosphere didnt work with the latest cfw . All i mentioned was hekate hasnt been updated, so it doesnt support booting the latest ofw. Also like smf mentioned, considering SX released an update earlier than anyone else, literally one day after Nintendo’s official update, its pretty insane to legitimately believe they stole anything regarding 8.1.0.

Released first. Atmosphere is open sourced, so you can compile the code yourself. Before they update it officially to 8.10 it was already working for that firmware.

Look at the log. There was a gap between atmosphere supporting it, and bumping to a new release. It's dumb that github doesn't show hours, but https://github.com/Atmosphere-NX/Atmosphere/commit/e996acff6677c9d4517eb7fe6e20c9156632eb85
this commit was up before SX OS updated to support 8.10
Yes, SX OS released first.
But Atmosphere had support first.
Sorry for using the wrong words. But still, atmosphere had it going before SX OS did.
