So i've been using my second hand Switch for a while, having a backup from when it had 2.3 OFW, and now running 8.0.1 with Choi without burning fuses. My issue is that the original owner had a user tied to the console, so I always have to choose which user to play with when starting a game, and it is starting to annoy me. I've been thinking about if "system initialize" in Choidujournx would remove the user to let me start all over?

In the system setting you can change the setting for it not to prompt you to pick a profile when loading a game if you only have one profile on it.

Well, that's the problem, I have two profiles, my own, and the previous owner has one as well.

Yes the system initialize deletes everything. Users, games, saves, WiFi settings, etc. Starts like your switch turning on for first time ever again.

So, if I backup my saves and run the firmware upgrade through Choi again, with system initialize checked, will I be able to use my switch afterwards without connecting it to the internet?

WITHOUT connecting to the internet sure.

If you connect there is a very small chance you will be banned. The general consensus is the system initialize option in ChoidujourNX gets your switch 99.9% clean but since we don't fully understand what data Nintendo collects or how it's possible but unlikely they will know you used cfw

If your banned you can't use the Nintendo online subscription or download games off e-shop

I cant justify $1k+ on a nice ass phone. I can spend that on a 75" tv screen. Why a 6" screen device cost me the same? lol

Nah a phones going to always be more powerful than a TV if the TVs $2grand maybe but why when I can put a smaller device in my pocket that does basically everything a TV already does

I can justify a decent $800 smartphone that'll last 3 years when I could get a 65" TV for $400 and buy a decent micro computer for $100 more
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Tbf there are decent $400 smartphones in today's market that make top end spec phones unjust it's just what you want
