We are back once again with another small update for our users.

Team-Xecuter back in two ways, first with their original sites are now back online, and now with nice quick SX OS update to enjoy:

Today we bring you SX OS v2.6.2 beta. This release addresses two issues we wanted to get out to all of you soon.

• Game compatibility fixed for games that require firmware 7.x
  Some recent games (like 'Hellblade Senuas Sacrifice') failed to boot with SX OS. This has been investigated and addressed in this update.
• Improvements to cheat engine
  We were made aware that the conditional codes (code type #1) were broken. This has been fixed. Some further minor stability improvements to the cheat engine have been made as well.

Last but not least, as you might have noticed our website(s) had some downtime over the past two weeks. We were quick with providing a temporary solution for everyone worried they couldn't activate their SX OS Licenses while we revamped and future proofed our production infrastructure. Everything should work again as expected!

Why do people pay for this if there are free alternative like atmosphere and reinx Is it because of xci loading?

I bought the license at sxos launch. It was the best alternative for my needs at the time.

I still use it because of the dongle, XCI, HDD and because it doesn't crash, it's very easy to update and doesn't require spend hours learning to setup, fix, update etc, just look all the threads with installation problems, random crashes, sdfiles, etc. I don't have time for that.

Even if atmo implement all this features, why change something that works fine (and it's paid anyway)??

if atmos has more features than SX OS then enjoy.. but apart from overclocking I can't think of any.. but then you miss out on USB HDD/stick support, XCI loading and emuNAND.

but your money, your choice.

I don't get what's the point of USB support when you can simply install all your NSP's over USB via Goldleaf.

Not of much interest to me but at least the updates are starting to trickle out. I still only use SXOS because it’s easy and just works and I’m lazy, when the day comes and the support stops I’ll make the jump to Atmos for sure. I just dont see the need to change right now.

Tbf the bulk of the sale was during the time that there was no back up loading and tx took advantage of people's need for piracy. Right now other than emunand or ease of use then yes there's barely any reason to buy sx.

I updated my sx os to the new beta but ff7 and blaster master 2 ask for a system update. Do I have to update my emunand to play the new games? I have done everything on emunand so far. original firmware is on 4 something. emunand is on 6 something.

Just update your emunand firmware to 7.0.1 using choidujournx
