So, I've had my 3DS for a while without an SD card.
R4 worked fine without any whitelisting software. Now, I just got B9S. Everything worked correctly as intended, except for my R4 card.
Does anyone know a solution?

What model flashcart? What is the manufacturer's website? Check against the ntrboot list.

Maybe yours has a time bomb where it requires YSMenu.

If not, you may have a flashcart bocked by the DS whitelist. Use apache thunder's Stage2 TWL or NTR Launchers to bypass it.
I'll get the model and manufacturer site later, but I know I made sure to get one without the timebomb, and it all worked until I installed B9S so I doubt it's a timebomb problem.
Also the DS Whitelist? Why would the R4 work on a vanilla firmware but not with a CFW?

I just throw out suggestions.

Maybe your RTC advanced forward after B9S was installed and this triggered the time bomb. Roll back time and date in System Setting and use the ctr-no-timeoffset app. A post about the 3DS "dual" clocks.

Not really related to DS whitelist nor for DS only flashcarts, I've heard of Stargate 3DS flashcarts (dual 3DS and DS) where the DS mode is broken after CFW is installed.
If you look in the NTRboot list, a few carts are blocked on 3DS firmware higher than 4.X.0 and the latest DSi firmware. Not knowing what version firmware yours was hacked on and if it was updated, thus the mentioning of that DS whitelist.

Do any of your HOME Menu DSiWare titles work?
If the above doesn't fix it, maybe it's the NVRAM.
Is it only the DS flashcart that doesn't launch after trying everything else?
