Hi guys. I'm here because I need your help before I mess up badly.

I want to know how I could mod my switch without messing it up too bad.

I've already bought the plastic thingy to access the rcm menu, is there anything else that I need to buy or know before modding my switch?

Also, should I be worried about playing with my internet on?

First you need to make sure you don't have a patched unit, second thing to do is backup your NAND with Hekate if you got an unpatched unit, playing online with CFW would get you ban from online service.

First you need to check if you can push a payload, use tegrasmash GUI if you don't have a payload dongle, if the payload go through you got an unpatched, if it doesnt go through you got patched.

As @Hayato213 said, test that your switch is hackable. If so, do a NAND backup before doing anything. And dont worry. There is pretty much no way to screw it up (if you follow correct guides).

The thing is that my system is already on 7.0.1, however, people told me that is still possible to mod it

Depends on if it is patched or not.

if it’s unpatched, you can mod it

But if it’s patched, R.I.P
