Hi everybody!

So a few days ago, I've decided to jailbreak my switch (XAW1000.. FW 3.0.1) with SX Pro. I've ordered a 128gb SD Card and my SX Pro (they should be here anytime), and I'm trying to prepare my switch. I've done a couple of researches to make sure that I'll have a stable and ''safe'' switch, but I have more questions now than before.. So here I am, wondering if you could help me:

-In order to play the lastest game on the lastest firmware (7.0.1X with SX OS 2.6.1), would it be the best to update my firmware via nintendo, or via choidujourNX?
-To backup my NAND, do I do it on firmware 3.x or 7.x?
-I've read about EmuNAND, what is the minimum firmware, and do I need it?

I don't care honestly about online play, but I would like to not burn any fuses because I would like one day to play the all new pokemon, and we dont know if we're gonna be able to use it via jailbreak or anything like that.

Thanks a lot for your time!

1) Update with ChoiDujourNX if your care about downgrade.
2) You make one before you update. Also you should have created one before doing any modification to your console.
3) You could use EmuNAND to keep your SysNAND clean and play backups in EmuNAND. But if you haven’t created it before and already ran CFW on SysNAND it’s probably not really helpful for you.

1. With ChoiDuJour, I know we have the choice between 7.x and 7.x exFat, what would be the best?
2. Ok, I'll do it on 3.x
3. So basically, it is a os beside the os. Is it hard to make one? My console is virgin, no hacks has been done on it yet.

1) Doesn’t matter since you should only use FAT32 for your micro sd card. Many people have sd card corruption with exFAT.
3) It‘s easy to create with SX OS. Just boot with SX OS payload and in the menu you can create EmuNAND. It will take a while but it’s worth it. If you haven’t run CFW yet, you could create EmuNAND and update it with ChoiDujourNX to latest firmware. Also you can boot to SysNAND and update it with official update and play online since it’s clean.

3) So I could keep my SysNAND in 3.0 and put my EmuNAND in 7.x? I'll look into this. Do you got any good tutorials?

Yes, they can have different firmwares. It’s easy:
1) Create EmuNAND with SX OS
2) Boot in EmuNAND
3) Update EmuNAND with ChoiDujourNX (you don’t need to enable autoRCM if you keep your SysNAND on 3.0).

Wow didn't think it was that simple! So if I dont active the autoRCM, I'll need the SX Pro (payload injector) to boot into my emuNAND each time? And do I need to remove the SD card if I boot inside the OFW?

You always need the injector. The advantage of autoRCM is that you don’t need a jig to get into RCM. But if your RCM you need to attach the injector.
