SX OS 2.6 Beta released: full support for Nintendo Switch firmware 7.x

From Team Xecuter:

This new 2.6 BETA of SX OS adds full support for Nintendo Switch firmware 7.x, including ALL functionality you expect when using our product. We've been pioneering our own unique and proprietary solution for defeating any future firmware protection and we're quite happy with the results so far.

This release is marked as BETA because we changed things drastically under the hood to streamline future firmware updates and some things may inadvertently behave differently.

That does not mean it hasn't been vetted at all, so give it a shot today!

Of course, we haven't been sitting idly behind the scenes either. A lot of our development resources and attention has been dedicated to bringing SX OS to those "unhackable" switches. We are working hard to bring the SX OS experience to all of you who are stuck with an "unhackable" switch. Stay tuned for more news!

No @kumikochan I said SX OS users generally don't go into atmos or reinx threads and talk shit about the other CFW.

your right, it's the first time i've gone in to a Atmos thread after many atmos users on here said USB loading was not important to them, yet they might have some form of loading in gold leaf and I was asking why it was important to them now

You can say whatever you want, but for me Emunand (and multi OS in general no matter which system I use), in this case usb hdd, XCI and DIFFERENT OPTIONS (XCI and NSP support) is enough reason to buy it.

And please, just stop and dont act like hypocrites...... most of you use your Switch to play pirated games anyway (be it NSP with free CFW or XCI/NSP combo with SX OS), only difference is that you only use NSP, dont tell me that they dont want to implement xci support in free CFW because it would promote piracy and sh** like that, thats just stupid..... to avoid legal trouble, yeah maybe but nothing besides that. To be precise, I have nothing against free CFW (using it on multiple different consoles) but cmon......

I play only on my own cart backups and use emunand for homebrew, i bought pro just before introduceing this feature by tx - and only for this. If other free alternatives gives me this option and gives update proof like with 7.X i will switch to them without problem. Anybody choice what wanna use, but sometimes idk what this thread is for or about share user experience or who have longer dick :/

It'd be pretty hard to accidentally hardcode a key into a cfw :P. So probably purposely
Truth be told....... do they look like they care about anything (respects and sh**s like that)? NOPE!

Options, more options...... if it wasnt for more feautures I would still be siiting in front of my 20plus years old PC. I dont understant how can someone say that usb hdd is not important and things like that, wtf seriously?

uh? what? Did you mean to quote someone else?

I can't see this announcement is a place for sx users at all. Every comments can be considered as flamebait but nothing to deal with Atmosphere supporters at all because they hijacked successfully.

After that good thing is have another profile in tx forums... i made it month ago... or so in case if i have problem with sx os and not disturb cat fights about future of universe here...

Nobody's posted this here yet, so I guess I'll do so. SciresM believes Gateway got the tsec_root_key by glitching sept, and he says he'll be hardening sept to help prevent such glitching
So instead of making their CFW better with adding missing features, such as USB loading and EmuNAND, they are trying to block SX OS from letting them use Sept how they want to use it. If Atmosphere was really superior, they wouldn't even need to do these practices. A lot of people call TX pathetic of their practices, yet Atmosphere devs aren't any different it seems.

Emunand is the next thing to be worked on after debugging stuff is complete, and xortroll is working on some USB stuff for Atmos

Edit: also they're only doing this because Gateway refuses to credit them and many other devs

You really didn't get my post, didn't you (:
You've totally missed my point...

Edit: It means Atmosphere is still lacking these features, which means that my post is still standing ground.

it looks like it's installing from a usb device not installing to

Sept doesn't block anybody from using it.

No, Atmosphere supporters use NSP on protected sysnand. Emunand/usbhdd etc couldn't be considered as useful stuff until Atmosphere gods say they're good for their users.

What are you talking about?... Do you even know what and how EmuNAND works?

Has GBATemp really fell into to this level....?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Boo hoo? They deserve credit for their work, and it functionally would have allowed SX OS to work with 7.0.x.
Another user who just misses the point of my post and just tries to change the subject (:
