Hey guys !

would like to know if IPTV stream is a thing on nintendo switch and know if it hardware can handle an app like this !!

if it is possible an iptv homebrew would be a very nice tool to have on nintendo switch !

Before ppl start to hate my suggestion and ask " sO WhY DonT U dO It bY YoUrSElf?" iam a totally noob that don't know even how format my computer it is just a suggestion.

Currently homebrew doesn't have access to hardware video decoding on Switch, which makes any stuff like this a lot harder. Maybe when that's achieved, IPTV could be doable if the necessary stuff is open source and available.

Not sure why this thread is revived, but Jellyfin have support for NextPVR and TVHeadEnd. So any one could use that together with Swiftfin I would guess

it work for me:
TsVitch
Looks like it's closed under a donation-only paywall server in that Discord. Minimum 10 euros for a Bronze User AMS pack with this homebrew, TsVitch:
User Bronze
Donazione di 10€

(AMS Packs)Include:

But, I found out it's GitHub page: https://github.com/giovannimirulla/TsVitch

It's free, and supports IPTV playlists in M3U format. Works good.

Android is always a good option for media, you can use Kodi or whatever you like. It should be as capable as an Nvidia Shield TV, since it runs the same SoC.

Be careful if you want to use it for subscription services as it may be downgraded/blocked due to DRM/device integrity.

There may be workarounds, but it can become a cat and mouse game.

Of course Kodi, Plex, etc. shouldn't be affected.

Yes, Netflix will probably not stream in HD. Might be able to spoof a Shield TV to get around it though.
