Gaming How to transfer your XC2 Torna save to just Torna Game?

This is the case, and PLEASE someone help me on this T.T

I have both Torna and XC2 Cartridges and this is the thing, I played the Torna DLC on my XC2 as the DLC, but I want to continue playing that save on my Torna Cartridge... all good for now. I made the back up, identified which one is the Torna SAVE INSIDE de XC2 Save from Checkpoint... now I try to restore that Torna DLC Save to my Torna Cartridge Save and all goes fine... UNTIL... I try to actually continue the game, on my Torna Cartridge I get the message: "The downloadable content has been removed. Please redownload the content to continue playing your previously-saved game"

Problem is, YOU ARE THE DLC stupid TORNA ¬.¬.

How can I transfer my file and not be greeted with that annoying message? Is the a way I can "remove" the traces of DLC from the XC2 save? I really want to continue the save on my cartridge but how im gonna download the Torna DLC onto TORNA Cartridge its just NOT POSSIBLE. xDDD

I can upload my XC2 save with the Torna Save in it, and my Torna Cartridge save if anyone wants to take a look and see what is different, I have no clue.

You may have older version of Torna Standalone and newer saves. Try to download update.

They both have the latest update. Problem is, TORNA the cartridges says that I don't have DLC installed and wont continue my save.. that doesn't make sense because TORNA Cartridge doesn't have DLC.

So your save contains some informations that are not in Standalone game. You need to delete it. How? I don't know.

Sorry for resurrecting a very old thread but if in case someone passes by here and is still interested in a solution for this, here it is.

Export your Xenoblade Chronicles 2 save with JKSV, open the zip and extract the irasavefile.sav, export a Torna save, then simply put the irasavefile.sav from your XC2 save into the Torna zip and confirm you want to overwrite the already present file. Then import the Torna save via JSKV.

I did it the other way around because I wanted the main game and DLC in one app but it works both ways.

yes, you only need to copy the irasavefile.sav, there’s one more file called ira option but you don’t need to copy that one

Are you certain it works both ways? I'm trying to import a DLC torna save to the standalone version with this method and it's still telling me "The downloadable content has been removed".

Yes, I did it, it sounds like maybe you don't have the right combination of game and DLC's installed.
