Dream team isn't appearing what happened teracopy didn't copy and paste it all

No no no I lost my saves

how do i get the save back if it got corrupted and doesnt appear why now i have to download the games and restart my progress

Im going to have to use a recovery software I guess one you would use if you deleted a file this literally ruined my day if only there was software that doesn't include cheats that speeds you back up where you were.

Do you know a good drive recovery software
Maybe you have the EUR versions of those games with different Title IDs?

You can try these: List of data recovery programs

You should consider from now on making frequent enough backups of your saves + extdata with Checkpoint/JKSM.

I'm using silicon power should I "upgrade" to a more well known brand like Kingston,Samsung, and sandisk I use silicon power a lot like 70% of my SD cards are silicon power branded and never had a problem

Silicon Power (circa 2003) makes legit flash memory products, although they're not as well known versus SanDisk and Samsung. The problem is that you can't trust any brand by namesake at first glance because of counterfeits. This is why I heavily emphasized on checking your SD card with H2testw.

If your experience with your SP sd card was bad despite H2testw revealing nothing out of the ordinary, I recommend that you go with the other brands. Those links in my sigs have cards in other GB gizes, btw. $22 should net you a 128 GB card.

You merged the contents of your o2DS Nintendo 3DS folder with that of the n3DSXL? I'm sorry for your lose and that you had to learn this lesson firsthand, but you can't do that! You unintentionally overwrote, replaced, and deleted your n3DSXL data. Games, DLCs, updates, and saves + extdata are individually encrypted to each and every 3DS/2DS system. They are not directly drop-in shareable.

no i didnt merge the folders im just saying i have an old backup of the folder i didnt do that no merging
i have my 3ds backup and my 2ds backup i was comparing the folders
im scared to share [as text or a picture] and recover the random mumbo jumbo file because it doesnt show where itll recover to plus i cant see what type of file it is im using rucuva which is made by ccleaner
the file is named with a bunch of random characters this is getting interesting for sure

It's probably a leftover, garbled file. Files that are deleted on the SD card are simply forgotten. Their data stays intact until new files write over them.

Okay, so you only tried copying your o2DS Nintendo 3DS on that SD card to see if it reads and writes..

i have my 3ds backup and my 2ds backup i was comparing the folders
When you used H2testw, did it instantly pass the test or did it actually write some *.h2w test files?

Recuva free version sucks. Telling you, get the good stuff like pro version of EaseUS. If have no qualms, you can get the paid stuff if you know how to search.

but it seems for some reason formatting my sd card made things worse i shouldent have done that because even though i backuped my folders it seems many third party software hates the corrupted files or something i dont know though just to be safe cause i think this may have happened before do not use teracopy to copy and paste corrupted files im pretty sure the windows file manager just copy and pastes even corrupted files

i dont like torrents but ill try to find a premium version of a recovery software its not like your trying to find a cracked anti virus this is mostly a one time purchase so i guess i can still try

I told you to copy your files off your SD card onto a computer but never did I mention using the program Teracopy. Most people would simply use their File Explorer whether it be Windows, Mac, or Linux. If there was something already wrong with the SD card itself, the files on that card were bad before you started this thread, the SD card reader is finicky, or even your computer C:\ drive has bad clusters whether it be a hard drive or SSD, then it wouldn't have been possible to account for or know your files wouldn't be copied over intact.

what i meant is that on a different drive im pretty sure i had some type of issue with teracopy i understand now to not use teracopy as its third party software designed to be fast and isnt intented for files that are corrupt i still recommend teracopy cause its fast but dont use it for dire situations like mine now i understand that. ive had teracopy installed on my computer before this. so yes the problem was kinda on my fault corrupt files probably dont work well with the advanced algorithm im pretty sure teracopy uses
im still using windows 7 which probably has outdated speeds for its file explorer i dont know how much faster the file explorer on windows 10 is but anyways ill be on windows 10 soon i was told not to upgrade yet as i would have to upgrade my parts so thats why i use teracopy basically

Look for comparable save files at those save sharing threads and save editors for those games. I don't have the links for those, but GBAtemp search tool should be able to find them.

Use JKSM or Checkpoint to make regular backups of your save games, and move the backups to your computer. If you SD card gets corrupted then you can install the games on a new SD card, copy the backups back, and restore them with JKSM or Checkpoint.

Alright there is something wrong with ftp I'm using 3dsshell and I'm trying to copy over TurboGrafx VC injects they give me an error should I provide a picture this time I know it's not the game. TurboGrafx emulation is basically the only thing that is worse on the psp than the 3ds.

N64 on psp was a thing simply cause the console actually shared a common hardware system.

Yeah I corrected my stupid mistake psx (very few psp games) is pretty much the only reason to get a psp over an keyword NEW 3ds. Though tbh the vitural console injects do treat the games better so I guess you could say most emulation are better on 3ds. Another tbh I hate no offense N64 emulation straight up I'm not saying the idea is bad but the emulation seems off I could really only play N64 games as VC console games. Before anybody corrects me about gba you could inject the games and they play nativly with a few issues but what do you expect out of an feature that was resurrected from death since the DSi killed it off

The PCE VC for the 3DS made by Konami isn't that great because there were only five (5) games ever released for it in Japan. It's a bare bone emulator, so it's compatibility for other PC Engine and TurboGrafx-16 games is understandably horrid. However, the Virtual Console's GUI and user options are top notch.

If you want to play PCE/TG16, use TemperPCE or RetroArch.

For your second problem using 3DShell and FTP, this one's a mess to figure out what's wrong with it. I've had files on my SD card that appeared as missing when viewed in WinSCP client. You can try copying everything off your card onto a computer (not using Teracopy but with Windows File Explorer), quadruple reformat the card, add back everything (again, with Windows File Explorer), and then see if the FTP issue goes way.

heyy bitsy, is that that one co-op character from Enter the Gungeon?

Also, I would use my New 2DS XL, but look at my signature to know what happened to it. I have a raspberry pi w/ Lakka, but it's not a portable setup.
