Hello,

I want to update my 3DS but I heard I should update Luma first. I am connected to my internet but it says I cannot update.

I am using the app on the home screen: luma updater v2.2. My payload type is SIGHAX, payload path is /boot.firm. And my current installed version is 8.1.1-f6483ec.

Any suggestions ?

I am confused on what you mean by CTRNAND. I copied the files to my microsd, but can't I just run the Luna Update on my home screen?
You can just run the Luma3DS updater.
CTRNAND is the internal memory of 3DS and another method that you use to boot into Luma3DS.

Haha thank you so much for the fast replies (:

Now I am on Ver. 11.6.0-39U ...so if I update my Luma and then update my 3DS, will I be ok?

Also, do you have any recommended homebrew apps that may have come out recently ( I have theme editor and all that)

Thank you so much!

Can you help me? I can't update Luma.

When I opened Luma he alerted me that an update (LumaUpdater v2.5) was available, if I click on '' Update (must restart afterwards) '' it ends up giving DOWNLOAD FAILED '' Could not get Location header for Ret code: ded92 ''

Se eu clico em ''Don't update and continue'' he gives me this:

But the console is connected to the internet, I even play Mario Kart 7 Online.

I tried to change the boot.firm to the one you posted above, but it was the same.

Hey, on the new luma update, is it it safe to just copy and replace your boot.firm and boot.3dsx?

when i tried to update it said stack dump and now the micro sd is write protected (fixed it)

In that case (Luma 10.2.1 updated and running normally), yes, you can update the console firmware directly from the internet

I was wondering, is the Universal Updater reliable for updating Luma3DS or do I have to update it manually by dragging the files?

if it updates luma, probably. I still have luma updater installed. I installed universal updater recently for twilight menu++, and I had no problems with it.

That is my case as well. That is why I was wondering if it safe to update Luma. Both Luma and Godmode actually.

Why should it not be safe?
I don't know, I was just being wary, as I'm not sure if I should update it using the Universal Updater or doing it manualy. Sure the Universal Updater is practical but given how the Luma 3DS updates, I'm not sure if I should use the Universal Updater.
