Hacking [4.74 HEN RELEASED] Payloads and information thread

@stooged another idea is for you to compile the HEN payload without the spoof patch and see if that still works normally as just a HEN payload.
I can't see it making a difference but mabe it's worth a try to eliminate any issues with the spoof offset patch.

just run the enable vr payload by its self and do the rest mode test.
you don't need to run hen to test the firmware spoof

4.74 vr is possible just as it was for 4.05, 4.55, 5.0X.
the problem is being able to test the pointers.

we might also need a second 4.74 kernel dump from a different console to make sure the one we have is not faulty

The vr patch is correct so it must be something else.

Without running any exploits or payloads turn on the vr headset and take a photo of the tv screen and post it so we can see what the vr is requesting

dumping the kernel is basically dumping chunks of memory so the dump can be incomplete.
you are not running this dump so you wouldn't know if it was corrupted and some offsets might work and others can be missing that's why it can be helpful having dumps from different consoles

2. go in Rest Mode...Start PS4 !!! ( FW: 9.0 )
2. turn on VR Headset
3. load Hen
4. it work's fine...,)

when i put in rest mood and then turn on everything goes includding debug settings and my games have a lock on them. i think the problem is it the payloads dont work in rest mood for 4.74 is they anyway to fix that ? @Leeful @stooged @KiiWii

@liggi26 , I don't understand. In this post you reported that EnableVR worked and you saw v9.00 in system settings after rest mode.

@faisalhudz you need to enable 'Keep Applications Suspended' in rest mode settings for the exploits to stay after rest mode.

Go to Settings > Power Saving Settings > Set Features Available in Rest Mode > and make sure 'Keep Applications Suspended' is ticked.
