Can someone please compile this? Heres a basic Smash Ultimate save. Something to edit the Coins (17,665) would be perfect but preferably Coins, Skill Spheres (81) and Spirit Points (28,910), I tried to do it last night watching YouTube but im not very smart lol Thanks everyone Merry Christmas

Although we’ve been through this on my old account. My Switch just wont boot into EdiZon. My specs are Hekate 4.6, 6.2 Firm, and 3.0.1 hbmenu. I installed it through the github and still crashes. (If entered though album it crashes. If through nsp it errors out with The Software was closed because an error occured.) Whats up?

Hi,

Have anyone noticed that Edizon identify the latest ReiNX as SXOS ?
Just test it by launching Edizon on current ReiNX cfw.

It's because ReiNX 2.0 have basic TX services so Edizon probably see it because of that.

Yep. The detection works by trying to open a service called "tx". If it already exists it will fail and edizon knows that it's running on SX OS.
Rei already made a PR for EdiZon though and implemented a service for me to detect ReiNX so the warning won't show up anymore on there.

Sorry for the misleading message. I didn't have much time over the holidays. I'll try to release a new version in the next few days :)

That will be awesome =)
Thanks!
Do you know why Rein removed the cfw name tag at the right side of Switch version? It used to show: " current system version: 6.2.0 ReiNX "
..because this "tag" was removed on the latest ReiNX version

sx os still broken with this homebrew?

Works for me, other than the annoying SX warning. I think SX should just write their own game save manager if Edizon is unwilling to remove the message or fix whatever issue they are claiming exists for SX users. It annoys me, and feels like fear mongering.

It's more that they don't want to do anything. EdiZon works fine everywhere except on their CFW. And since they are unwilling to do anything with the open source community I can't do much about it except warning people.

Honestly I don't really care what you or anybody else thinks about this warning. I just don't want anymore hateful comments from their terrible community.

Ok, what did SX do that breaks only your app? "Shit dont work" doesnt fly for bug reports,, if you actually want something fixed. I havent even noticed any of the stuff your warning warns of.

On SX OS something sometimes prevents file access to the save files. My best guess on that is that it's caused by a bad implementation of the XCI loader that doesn't close the save files correctly. But again, it's just a guess because I just had a lot of people getting mad at me because EdiZon broke their save files exclusively on SX OS. I don't have SX and I'm not willing to pay for it. Also I don't have any insight on source code of them so the best thing I can do is put a warning there that at least makes people think and maybe create a backup before modifying save files. I can't fix things I don't know why they are caused. All I can say is that it's caused by SX OS since it doesn't happen anywhere else. It's on them to fix this issue.

Observing their behavior over the last year, all they really care about is piracy (which makes sense since it's the main selling point of it) and not at all about homebrew support. EdiZon is not the only homebrew that causes issues on SX OS, I just dared to add a warning that advices against it's use. I really don't want to discuss this any longer. Everybody use and do what they want, I don't care anymore.

Despite everything, here's a new version of EdiZon! EdiZon 1.6.0 features following additions:

Changelog
  • Naming of backups using the Switch's software keyboard!
  • Editing values by entering the value with the keyboard!
  • New beautiful icon by @bernv3
  • Less biased SX OS warning message and fix for the false positive on ReiNX2.0
  • New libnx 2.0.0 rendering code
  • Fixed weird menu scrolling bug when less than 10 titles were displayed
  • Fixed the laggy menu
  • Easier to understand error messages
Developers
  • String Widgets! A widget that lets you enter text with the keyboard
  • Dummy values that allow you to make runtime adjustments and send data over to the script without modifying the save file itself
  • Support for different files in the same game. All of them get their own config values.
  • Read the Wiki for more information!
