Hi

I recently noticed some games used to work before are no longer loading in USB load GX, (black screen and remote disconnected, need to reset manually), and I have updated a few things (d2x cISO, home brew, and usb load gx) to the latest version, but still does not help. Also tried switch between 249 and 250. Here is the syscheck list I have:

Hello
Your cios 249 is on the wrong version of the d2x cios (d2x version 10 beta 53 alt) ..

put your CIOS 249 base 56 with this version of cios d2x ==> version 10 beta 52.

If USB key ==> avoid USB keys, they work badly or not with the wii, prefer an external hard drive for better connectivity.

Thanks,
Is your drive WBFS or FAT32 formatted? Are you using a HDD or flash drive?

Weird that it's not working. With beta 52 you have to make sure you always use the bottom port.
I guess it's possible that the games got corrupted. Maybe try running Check Disk and see if it finds anything.
I have always use the bottom usb port. Oh, you meant checkdisk on the hdd with Windows?

Hi

Nothing from the chkdisk and also updated the 249 to version 10 beta 52 but it does not help. Still with the same issue from before. Any other suggestion? Should I better off to redo the whole thing from scratch? Any latest guideline you can suggest I should follow?

Thanks,

Maybe try getting a fresh copy of the games and putting them on.

Tried a new copy and remain the same issue. This is weird, only some games have this issue and they were working before? Could it be possible I brick the machine? Is it possible to reset the wii and do the softmod again?
Thanks,

Thanks,
Your softmod looks fine, I don't think that's the problem.
You can try resetting the USB Loader GX settings, that can sometimes fix issues (there is an option in the settings for it)

Tried the reset to default but no help. Question ISO236, it is outdated mod right, no need for it anymore.
Thanks,

Tried with wiiflow lite but got a message saying no game found under usb1?
I don't know wiiflow, but does "usb1" refer to the partition or the usb port?

• if it's referring to the port :
you need d2x r53 to use port1 (top port on Wii, bottom-back on WiiU).
you said you always use bottom port, so maybe wiiflow is trying to mount the wrong port and as a result you get "game not found"?

• if it's referring to the partition (which is more logic) :
seeing both Wiiflow and USBLoaderGX can't launch the game, I suspect the issue is on your HDD, not in your console's setup.
and seeing it's only some games, not all, it means it's not a HDD problem.
- Either the file is not properly named, or in the wrong folder, or you have the folder but miss the file
- Either the game is bad (corrupted, or 0byte?). verify your game is not corrupted with WiiBackupManager's Sha1 option, or with Wit if you are not on Windows.
- Either the .wbfs file is write protected. FAT32 seems to have a problem with protected files, be sure you check the file properties on your computer and disable the read only attribute.

if you installed the game manually, maybe the extension is wrong, or filename is wrong (should be TitleID.wbfs, not <Title>.wbfs)
always use wii backup manager to properly install the game (not just copy or convert)
