@rajkosto still up there as one of the brightest and most talented people that Ive ever seen from following this switch hacking scene from day one. The gbatemp tards... hater devs.. and idiot biased gba mods along the way cant even disagree with that statement.

I am agree with you. Most of the people (including devs) are very complicated. Example, this topic (RajNX) is full of drama for the nothing.

Ikr but i'm getting errors with tinfoil on atmosphere 0.8.1 and wanna try something else :/
Atmosphere DOESN'T contain sig patches officially (if that's your issue). You have to add the IPS patches yourself (check either Kosmos or the 4N post in the Exploit forum here on gba)

I have the IPS Patches and they are not working for Smash nor homebrew nsp. That’s why I came here

@rajkosto very sorry to read that you will not continue, thanks for all your work with rajnx, i liked it very much. Wasn´t following a long time so wanted to update on the switch topics. Now that rajnx is discontinued, the way to go is atmosphere with sig pacthes right ? i read kosmos is the hot stuff right now ? Most userfriendly ?
Is there a simple guide where its clear what i need to do to switch from rajnx to atmo/kosmos ?

And most important question: I always started rajnx with the option "preventgcupdate". So how do i achieve this with atmosphere ?
I really hope its possible...
If not, well then i really hope that you raj will find some way for us to integrate ?

I don't know how kosmos is set up by default regarding the gamecard update patches, but if you get the "nogc" patch set from here and use them with an official atmosphere release you'll be golden.

official atmosphere has nogc included in the latest release, you need to set it in the BCT.ini
Oh yeah I forgot that tbh (I don't use nogc). As long as you're using Atmosphere 0.8.1 (or later):
  • By default, nogc patches will automatically apply if the user is booting into 4.0.0+ with fuses from <= 3.0.2.
  • Users can override this functionality via the nogc entry in the stratosphere section of BCT.ini:
    • Setting nogc = 1 will force enable nogc patches.
    • Setting nogc = 0 will force disable nogc patches.
  • If patches are enabled but not found for the booting system, a fatal error will be thrown.
    • This should prevent running FS without nogc patches after updating to an unsupported system version.
So should be pretty safe even if you do nothing.

SylverReZ @ SylverReZ: Also nice. Never really watched Fallout on Prime, but sounds like a good show. +1
