Hi,
So I got a Switch last week that came with firmware 4.1.0. I decided to try to run some CFW etc. so I bought microSD and so on. I could boot to Hekake without a problem, created backups without a problem but trying to boot a CFW just didn't work. I thought that I should check the firmware version once again and then it showed 6.2.0! I've got no idea how it was done but somehow it updated when I ran Super Mario Odyssey or something. I may have clicked the "wrong button".
Anyway, I had a NAND backup so I thought that I could just restore it and that's that. I restored it through Hekake, both rawnand.bin and the BOOT 0/1 files. Now's where I hit a brick wall (no pun). It won't boot any longer, just a blank/black screen. I've been trying to get into RCM mode again but to no avail.

Have I bricked it? Can you "brick" RCM mode as well?
Thanks in advance and I hope there is something I can do to fix this.

If you updated to 6.2.0 you've probably burned efuses which prevents downgrading. So restoring your 4.1.0 NAND backup wouldn't work as it wont boot because of the burned efuses. RCM should still work and if you are able to send the hekate payload you might be able to boot as it would ignore the fuse check.

If you used AutoRCM that will probably be gone with the restore so try the jig method.

You'll need to use the search function, the info is already posted on how to restore, then re-install 6.20 due to burned fuses.

Keep your current nand dump - you should be able to use it as an emunand to use with sx os - you might need to split the large nand dump into smaller sections though.

So, you can't messup RCM then? RCM will ALWAYS boot whatever you done with the Switch any case? It's kinda hardtoo boot it now because I've got no visual feedback at all. I've tried holding the power button for >12 seconds to be sure that it's off, then I place my homemade jig (needle) and try to boot in RCM. Nothing happens.. I do get my SX OS next week so I guess I'll have to try it with their specific jig.

To clarify, I've been using RCM and TegraRcmGui all the time to send different payloads. Now it seems that I can't even boot to RCM but it may be a coincidence because I don't have any visual feedback at all. Before I KNEW that whenever any color (Nintendo logo, blue sceeen etc) showed up that RCM didn't work.
